Earlier this summer, one of the rarest Transformers pieces hit eBay and sold for a staggering $26,815.00! That item? The unreleased Generation 2 Menasor/Stunticons set! That one certainly turned heads, but the seller z75sales wasn't done, not by a long shot. He's acquired a rather sizable collection of items from an ex Hasbro employee, items that contain rarities, prototypes and mock ups just to give you an idea.
In fact, the same seller just recently posted an auction for the unreleased G2 Megatron, the mold that became G2 Dreadwing and Smokescreen.
z75sales posted a couple of teaser videos on YouTube showing off this massive assortment of shipping boxes, filled with Hasbro and Kenner (which became a part of Hasbro several years ago) products that have yet to see the light of day. The second video even showcases an all black and orange prototype of Beast Wars Transmetals Optimal Optimus!
You can see all of their auction listings by clicking here, and while you're there, go ahead and bookmark it because you don't want to miss what he has coming next!

I wonder how much z75sales paid for all of that product.

My understanding is he is selling for the estate. I'm sure he's getting so sort of percentage for doing so but the stuff is not his...? correct me if I'm wrong.

If so, it's their own fault because...

This would be the smart way to do it. The eBay seller is probably brokering the deal and gets a certain percentage of the sale amount.
I don't know this to be true, but it would make the most sense.

That's a very uneducated statement to make. How do you know how rich this guy is or where they stand financially? Also Botcon? Because Botcon is a non-profit organization?

Or how about getting items like these into the hands of someone who photographs Transformers for a living so that these items can be shared with the rest of the world?

No need to be angry about it man. I can't afford this stuff either, but I don't begrudge anyone picking this stuff up for a moment just because they can. I'll share my chill pills if you'd like one.

So give them to Bot con so they can be trashed out after words?
Nah i think the best thing is either doing what he is doing right now or give them to a site like Seibertron so we can get photos
actually can any one on seibertron buy a few of these and either give or let the person who takes the galleries images (who is amazing by the way) borrow the the figures and take pictures for them.
Wish i had the money and means to get them and donate them to you Seibertron.

This collection of G1 figures are interesting. It should be noted that all of them were used in the European Classics line or the Generation 2 line, with the exception of a small handful such as Dreadwind, Darkwing, Cyclonus, Blitzwing, the Cassettes, Soundwave, and maybe a couple of others. I wonder if they had plans to release those figures in some other way or what the intention with these was.

I envision it as being part of the store or only open for special events or being something that is only available for viewing for a small donation to the "museum" or with a paid purchase from the Seibertron.com Store.
One day!

This will happen before the WWE Hall of Fame has a real location. I'm very curious how much the mass release G1 figures go for.

The only ones that are disappointing in price to me are the Mini-Bots. Most of them go for $10 to $15, with the exception of Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Bumblejumper.

oh stupid I feel know...

Except for Motormaster was never released. To the best of everyone's knowledge, there are no carded samples of G2 Hot Shot or G2 Motormaster either. If they aren't in the z75sales collection, then they most likely don't exist.

It all started here, with a G2 Menasor auction that went for a stellar price. Followed by unreleased G2 Gobots figures, a whole set even! Not even close to finished, seller z75sales even posted auctions for other G2 rarities, including ATB Megatron! Heck, he even had a crystal clear prototype of Beast Wars Transmetals Optimus Primal!
He even shared some videos of the unboxing of this incredible collection, obtained by the estate of a former Hasbro employee. You can see the previous video articles here, here and here.
z75sales has posted a new unboxing video on YouTube showing off the discovery of a good portion of the unreleased G2 items, including the aforementioned Gobots and even includes some G2 Dinobots as well, among other miscellaneous things such as missiles and assorted accessories.
You can see all of their auction listings by clicking here, and while you're there, go ahead and bookmark it because you don't want to miss what he has coming next!

We actually two confirmed names, not surprisingly reused from G1: Hound and Rumble. Hound should be a no-brainer, and Rumble is that red and white Vinny Racer. The latter was first used as RiD Side Swipe.

So the real question becomes ... what should I call the other 4 for their galleries on Seibertron.com? Should I just use the AFA titles?
Posted by Jelze Bunnycat on October 3rd, 2014 @ 11:53am CDT
- "911 Police Car" (Prowl 2)
- "GTP Racer" (Daytonus)
- "Black Viper" (Side Burn)
And then, there's:
- Rumble (Side Swipe)
As for the other two I just call them "Mercedes" and Hound.

Also, as far as the G2 Stunticons go, I'd love to see the Collectors' Club do a repaint of the BotCon 2011 Stunticon set in G2 colors. I understand it wasn't the most popular set, but I like it and I'd get the G2 version nonetheless.

Hmm?
No, that's not the stupidest possible comment, this is:
"Autobots, transvest and Glyph-Out!"
Her/his mission is to ascertain Thrustinator's exact place in the timestreams while beating the slag out of him, which is why I'd love to own this as well. Plus, seeing the '85 mural on the cardback of a toy I never knew existed always makes me feel like all's right with the universe...
