2026 Transformers Prime Changers Mirage Sighting and Review

Posted by william-james88 Aug 10, 2026 at 11:02am CDT 5,829 views
There’s a new G1 style deluxe class Mirage out there for those who may be interested. This is from the Prime Changers line which rereleases Cyberverse deluxe and new mold like the previous Megatron. The no name line also goes by Authentics and Evergreen within the fandom.
This toy is interesting as it has a unique transformation for Mirage but lacks typical quality for joints and plastic seen in deluxes. It cost $30 Canadian and was found at Walmart in Quebec.

This is the first sighting in North America and you can view a detailed review below.

Saw this at a dollar general today. $14.50. No weapons. Just him. Passed instantly

Not the same figure. That's the Authentics release; it's a very simple figure.

If it had no weapons then it obviously was not this figure

I went back. Pulled my phone out. It was exactly the same. Same flames and everything. Same package. My camera is broken so I couldn't take a picture

How are you sure there's no weapons? Usually, they are hidden in the packaging.

Also, Authentic and Prime Changers are not the same.

I was curious and I ordered that infamous Prime Changer Mirage. The bot mode is ugly as sin. The poor guy got kibble cancer, have hollow parts everywhere, basically no hands and no face.

However, the fact that he come with two guns and two blast effects is appreciated. Plus, the transformation is very interesting and the vehicle is very, very good.

It is well worth the full 30$CAN plus taxes.

I disagree on it being worth the price. The Cyberverse deluxes are the same price point in the same line and feel of much higher quality. This Mirage uses that sharp and thin plastic we see on cheaper KOs, which really didn't feel good to me. And I find the alt mode very odd, it looks chibified. But yes, the accessories and transformation (especially the inovative way they use real parts for the chest) make it stand out among the lesser quality toys.

Same package means nothing since the same package and image is used in this unified line. Until you actually post a picture of this toy with that price tag, it is more likely you are mistaken. But if you are not, it's crucial you post it as it would be front page news to know the US has this toy and you are the first person to have seen it.

TF Fan Sagagenesis spotted the new Mirage figure at Walmart in Michigan for $19.97. There has been a lot of confusion regarding this toy and what to expect and it's no fault of ours, Hasbro has been very uneven and unclear with this line, including its name. These toys are labelled as Prime Changers and the first waves had rereleases of the very good deluxe class Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the Cyberverse line. The second wave had a new deluxe class Megatron and now this third wave has a new Mirage figure.

While the image on the box is the same used on the much cheaper Authentics Mirage, the figure is completely different with a new transformation. It even is able to use real vehicle parts to create the chest, something previous deluxe figures failed to do. However, it is more of a budget toy, and so the design is limited by cheaper plastic and less articulation, along with a poor looking robot and alt mode, at least compared to standard deluxe class toys. So there are a lot of pros and cons and the review below can help show you exactly what you are buying. Let us know if you will be getting this one.
