This is one of my all time favorite Primes. He has that cool manga feel, and his articulation is second to none.
I spent hours setting this guy up extending his ladder to other shelves then filling it with bots charging into battle. The Mini-con pegs on him and Magnus actualy look better than the ones on his Armada counterpart.
This is, again, another great job! However if you ever have time to revisit him, it would be cool to show all the differnt was the armor can be attatched to the basic bot, ie, the larger feet attatching to his shoulders to reveal all those mortar shells.
On that same note though, I always thought it was strange that, if you could add on to yourself, you would do it standing on such a heavy payload
I passed on the Spychanger version because I tought it was to cheap of a copy of such a cool figure.
This Titanium though seems very much to be picking up all the slack that tiny version left in the smaller counterpart area though! The design is dead on, the articulation looks great. I know like all Titaniums he's going to have atleast one part that wont close right or some thing like that, but I'm loving this six inch line, and can't wait to add him to the collection!

Oh baby, this looks like another must for my collection! I've always loved RID Prime, and this looks to be no exception. I wonder how long it will be before the Bashers on the boards make his god armor

Damn right. I have to original Takara version, so it yells at you in Japanese. Love it.

I have the Hasbro version. It has been known to shout at me from the other end of the room... VERY spooky. Less spooky is the time he was in a box on the way home from uni, and something was leaning on his button. A 2 hour car journy with brime barking orders out at me.... It was not very fun...
Anyway, Im not feeling the love for the Titainium version. The alt mode isnt very good, the front end looks almost like a Micromaster, and the back end looks messy. And although the robot mode isnt bad, it's the super mode, which quite frankly isnt as good as the small robot mode is. (I know there was never any risk of them doing one with the smaller robot mode.)

I don't have the original, but I agree with the statement. The Titanium figure looks nice, and seems to have nice articulation, but I doubt I would get it, because it's just a midsized version with less features. I'll put it in the same boat as Optimal Optimus.
I think Titanium should be about giving new figures to guys who never had one, or updating them while still retaining the original design, not about giving good figures mid-sized representations.

Nice, but looks kinda naff compared to the original.
I prefer my RiD version; it just looks much better in both modes than this. Nice try though, they're really putting some effort into this line.

Actually, this could be repainted nicely into G1 Hotspot (right name?). And then some of the better bashers out there can make some Gestalt arms and legs to make Defensor!

It's a nice figure, but i'm not usre I'll get him.
I have the Hasbro RID version. and I truly think he is a masterpiece. Fully poseable. Wide variety of Armor Configurations. And the Ability to combine with Ultra-Magnus make it the best figure in my collection.
Although he looks good in Titanium form, i can't help but like his Normal Mode more over his Powered Up mode. Don't know why.
In any case its a great gallery.

Now if they'd release a Titanium RiD Scourge and LEAVE his name as Scourge, then this RiD fan would be very happy.

Why the switch from white background for the in-package pictures to black for the rest of the gallery? I like it; it's just unusual that you did it that way.

The spychanger version was the same way. I'm willing to bet the separate RID Prime and Ultra Magnus figures aren't able to combine. The spychangers weren't either.

Will definitely get him. My favourite version of Optimus Prime. Although I use Fire Convoy as a differnt character in my universe since he looks sufficiently different from most other Primes and Fire Convoy has a nice ring to it.
Wouldn't mind seeing a comparison pic of him with G1 Inferno in both modes.
