GALAXY FORCE cancelled in Japan?

After the news about the "Takara" name being absorbed into Tomy once their merger is complete sometime in Spring 2006, you knew it would just be a matter of time before rumors started circling about the end of the Transformers in Japan. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the Transformers brand shifts entirely to Hasbro's control. I would actually welcome this change especially as the movie nears. Americans like continuity. The Japanese seem to really enjoy rapid change from year to year. The quote that started it all was posted earlier today on Transfandom.com:

Hi guys! I just got an email from from a friend who I have been trading toys with for almost two years now and he said this in his latest email:

"...the sales of Galaxy Force (Cybertron) figures are very bad in Japan and Takara will cancel later figures. Only four figures (black Leobreaker, Galvatron, Soundwave and Metroplex) will be sold and all the others are cancelled ..."
