Yesterday, we reported that UK retailer In Demand Toys had shared images of the then-unannounced figure on its Facebook page. Hasbro has now officially revealed Transformers Studio Series Optimus Prime: Awakening Deluxe Class Bumblebee, confirming the dark Decepticon Bumblebee figure for Studio Series.
Inspired by Bumblebee's unsettling appearance in Optimus Prime: Awakening, the new Studio Series Deluxe Class figure recreates the character's dark colors, red eyes, oversized horns, Decepticon insignia, and Bumblebee-sized version of Megatron's fusion cannon.
Check out the figure in robot mode, vehicle mode, and several Decepticon-ready poses in a new product video from Hasbro that we uploaded to the Seibertron YouTube Channel:
Bumblebee appears in the animated short as an alternate version of the Autobot scout who joins Soundwave, Starscream, Kickback, and Shrapnel against Optimus Prime. Read our full spoiler review of Optimus Prime: Awakening for more on his role in the story.
The 4.5-inch figure converts from robot to car mode in 24 steps and includes an attachable fusion cannon accessory. Pre-orders are now available for $29.99 through Amazon, Hasbro Pulse, Walmart, Target, and other participating retailers. It is scheduled for release in Fall 2027.
