As an update to the Takara Tomy Quad Barrelled Shotgun campaign story which we first covered here, we now have in hand images of the tiny tiny Optimus Prime colour-themed gun, as seen in the Transformers: The Last Knight scenes in which Optimus attacks Bumblebee - shown in the promotional images as being wielded by the Studio Series version of the figure, which is closer to Revenge of the Fallen.

The Shotgun is part of a promotional Takara Tomy campaign that sees a purchase of 4000 Yen in the specified period (from 21st April) granting you the accessory. The images come from Singapore based Facebook page Planet Iacon, and have been mirrored for your viewing convenience - check them out!

Could easily just take one of my aoe guns from Hound and paint it up like that without having to spend so much, or I could get the MTB Hound and do the same with it, and still get a figure to boot. Would probably only use the shield canopy from him anyways.

The Quad Barrelled Shotgun campaign from Takara Tomy Transformers means that a purchase of 4000 Yen in the specified period (from 21st April) grants you the accessory, which is a sneakily redecoed Age of Extinction Hound gun, painted to suit more Optimus Prime as he wielded it in The Last Knight while fighting Bumblebee.

Thanks to Japanese toy blogger Alfes2010 over on Twitter, we now have in-hand images of the accessory, wielded by a number of Studio Series figures, such as Starscream, Bumblebee and of course Optimus Prime, who can also carry it on the back of the truck mode. It's a nice looking gun, but I'm not sure if it's worth 4000 yen for. You can paint one from Hound's, or wait for Reprolabels for one. I keep liking that Prime more and more as I see photos of him though
