They should be putting up in box pics of Sandstorm later today.

I don't like how Megatron's colors look in that photo. I was hoping for silver; he looks kind of drab.

But I'm still getting the set. I have them preordered at BBTS.

I don't see a difference between Chop Shop's alt-mode and his "weapon" mode.

Starscream and Waspinator are mine though.

I NEED them bugs! Not so much Megs and Screamer.

Love how SS and Waspy's bio is basically "yup, Possession".

You gotta admit both SS and Megs are a much better improvement from their last Legends mold. If I decide to get SS Waspinator is getting sold.

I absolutely love the Beast Wars episode "Possession" reference in Starscream & Waspinator's bio!

All in all, I'm kinda excited for these. After I get Bumblebee and Optimus, I'll probably skip on Megatron & Chopshop and get Starscream & Waspinator instead.

Hmmmm, not feeling that Starscream/Waspinator bio. It alludes to "Possession" but that's clearly Guido Guidi's IDW Seeker design, which was not the body the Starscream from the BW's G1 was shown to ever have.

That Megatron/Chop Shop, bio, however, is hilarious, with Chop Shop always stealing Megs's stuff.

Nice figures,,, Megatron robot mode is really nice,, tank mode it's fine. Starscream look cool,,, I may have to get them both figures to display them with either Metroplex or Fortess Maximus.

Do you mean the RTS legends? Because I absolutely would not admit that. The RTS legends are great toys, they're still sitting on my desk, and I play with them all the time. Megatron is easily my favorite of the four that I have, and I love Starscream's transformation. Admittedly, these new versions are going to benefit quite a lot from being bigger and having better articulation. However, looking at the Primes from each line, they actually have pretty much the same transformation, and the RTS one doesn't have all of the fiddly issues, so I still like him better.

That said, I'm still gonna be extremely happy to add these to my collection, because they look fantastic.

This Megatron, while larger and probably possessing a more articulated bot mode, is not as good as the RTS Legend with the G1 gun alt mode.

As for SS (AND Megs), you can't really compare these $10.50 "Legends" (which are practically Scouts) with the previous $5.99 Legends. They're not the same class.

By way of HK-TF user zeroeo we have in-hand images of Transformers Generations Legends Wave 2's Megatron with Chop Shop and Starscream with Waspinator. Starscream appears in his traditional jet mode, while Megatron sports his on again/off again tank mode. The ever so awesome Chop Shop and Waspinator are effectively triple changers, who can become weapons for the Megatron and Statscream. Check these guys out below.

When the hell can i buy these? Im not even getting the autobot ones. They can screw off. These are the ones i want. If only that megatron was a voyager.

Not liking the undetailed beige on the back of the tank's main gun.

Is it just me, or does that last image suggest that Chopshop can combine to form forward armor for Megatron's tank mode ala Movie Brawl?

I'm really unhappy with the unpainted beige platic on Megatron and the drabness of Starscream's paint job. If it weren't for Waspinator and Chopshop, I'd cancel my preorders for these.

I think Hasbro's been listening to fan reaction to PCC Heavytread and Groundspike, including frustration at not being able to find enough of them.

The question then becomes whether Choppy counts as a quad-changer, or no because his other weapon mode is just his bug mode on Megatron's sleeve.

First question: how is attaching Chopshop to the front of Megatron related to Movie Brawl?

Second question: what does either one have to do with the PCCs?

To answer your question: I'd still call him a triple-changer since beetle mode and gun mode are essentially the same.

no his eyes are painted you cant see it that well becase of the angle picture was taken his eyes are grey in bot mode

They're cute, but $10 cute? Not sure yet.

That Chopshop is really nice though, might have to splurge just for him...

Waspinator looks amazing! I can't wait to have him in hand...and permanently give him Screamer's null rays.

Megatron is too short. He should NOT be shorter than Starscream.

Makes me wonder how tall the Thrilling 30 Deluxe Megs is in comparison, because that Starscream looks quite a bit like he did in Spotlight: Megatron. If he's slightly shorter than a Cyberverse Commander, the scale might just about work.

There's no scale among Legends figures. This isn't Cyberverse, with Commanders and Legions. This is more like the old-school Legends lines: all the figures are the same size, scale-be-damned. OP and BB aren't to scale either.

The good news is that these guys can probably blend in with other lines, as you suggested. I'm already thinking the Legends BB, in bot mode, would look good with WFC Optimus, since he resembes WFC BB.

Come on Sabrblade, mellow out a bit. It's clearly G1-themed Starscream, isn't it? Does it really matter what design of Starscream he resembles? After-all, Beast Wars Waspinator didn't transform into a weapon. Yes the biography alludes to the Beast Wars episode 'Possession', but that doesn't mean it is. Who's to say such an occurrence wouldn't happen in an alternate universe anyway?

I like the artwork on Megatron's card. He looks a little on the puny side, like a bot that actually used to work the mines. The colours of the figures are a little bland, so I may pick up the Takara versions instead.
