If it wasn't Optimus I'd be more excited for it. It kinda reminds me of the older crossovers, like Captimus Prime, the phone one, or the Nike shoes. I passed on those because they involved Optimus. Ironically he makes them all less desirable.

I have both of those, actually. Mainly because the alt. modes are really cool.
For Megatron it is "MEGAdrive" so it gets a pass. Otherwise the pun is ruined. And I guess he needs an Optimus to go with him.
TBH, though, while it's cool to have TFs of a PSX and Genesis, they're kinda terrible TF toys in general.
I can also understand why the GIJoe collab has Megatron and Bee.
For every single other release it's actually been a real detriment to me buying. I don't really want to have all my collabs with the same red and blue color schemes; to all be Prime.

Not surprised it's Prime...I mean how else would you get buyers to dump 150$ into a camera they'll rarely use and/or transform?
But, still, maybe they'll do a reflector retool to get their money's worth off of this mold. inb4 it ends up being a Megs retool.

I very much doubt that Canon Camera Prime is in any way linked to Hasbro, as it's very much something Takara has done before (Playstation, Bearbrick, pen, TOYOTA FJ Cruiser X, etc). Canon is a Japanese company too.

Might be interested in these on clearance maybe. Don't really need another MPM Starscream and Optimus just doesn't look that impressive with very minimum transformation on the sides of the camera. If you tell me it actually works that's one thing, but as is it's very boring and lazy looking.
You guys got free Tshirts with yours? Aww, I want a free Tshirt. I ordered mine off AmiAmi, there was no such offer there.
It makes sense when Canon likely said it had to be Optimus.
Also there is no "I would rather have an MP Reflector" here. That goes without saying, but this isn't preventing that from happening, it isn't even an MP.
