On another note, for anyone who doesn't know, jablonsky also did the score for Steamboy. If you're not familiar with any of his other work I HIGHLY recommend checking it out, it is spectacular!

Just the score during the Autobot arrival sequence (my favourite scene of the film, it's amazing - very "Spielberg"), is worth getting this CD. Though the score isn't as unforgetable or haunting like some of the classic movie music of our times (Schindler's List, Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars, etc...), it is still very good, and as a Transformers fan who loved the movie, I would love to have this score be part of my collection.
This news has made me very happy!

It wasn't terrible, but I prefer alot of moive scores to this one (like anything John Williams did, from ET to Indiana Jones to Star Wars)

What else do you expect on there, B side music from the movie WTF?

The orchestral soundtrack is far superior to the numetal/pop that was in the "official" soundtrack.

I know what you mean. I got the soundtrack as a gift, and the only track I listen to on it is Disturbed.

That page was a confirmed fake by some other TF sites, even the Sony BMG logo on the side is a pretty obvious phony.
Also, I am close with someone who works for Sony BMG, if there is ever official word on it's release or any cover art revealed, I'll be among the first to know, so don't worry.

Now let's hope that they don't wait until the dvd release to release the cd.
Let's face it, every week they wait, less ppl will buy it as the movie hype dies down. Don't know why they didn't think of that in the first place.
