Courtesy of our regular Weibo user ??????????? (tf factory), and via fellow Seibertronian Sammythekat, we have some very nice colour shots of the duocon by any other name from the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline: Leader class Dragonstorm! The two knights that make up the dragon mode are Stormreign and Dragonicus, of course, and they all have similar gold, grey, silver accents on the paintjob. Check them out below!

Damn that leader Dragonstorm is AWESOME!
I fear the price it will go in store, but I'll be willing to pay it. The thing is MAGNIFICENT!

Let's just hope it will not have some random quality issues like Steelbane or something...

Dragonstorm looks great but size and cost make him a maybe for me. Nitro is a definite yes.

I Guess Dragonstorm's colours are designed to complement the other dragons - but I hope they repaint it black or darker grey sometime.

Looking at all that sculpted detail on Dragonstorm, I kinda wanna get him to detail him up. Some inks through an airbrush on all that metal flesh detailing (like the wings and back) would really make him pop I think.

Trying to decide whether to buy Hot Rod now or hope he becomes cheaper. At present Kapow Toys have him at £29.99 which is very expensive for a Deluxe (and with no gun) even at TLK prices and I presume it's cos he's a store exclusive from the US? But I keep wondering if he's gonna be a store exclusive here and if so for which store and I would assume he'd be at normal £22.99 price sorta thing (with potential for dropping further in a sale). I really like the character and the toy but £30 for a deluxe seems a bit much for me.

Man, I was really hoping for a 12-figure combiner.

Ah well. A man can dream.

Outside of legends scale how is this realistically possible?

It would also make a heavy unstable Dragon as well that probably would collapse to the weight.

It COULD be done. I mean, it'd be huge and expensive, but it's possible. After all, for years we thought combiners were impossible and yet now here we are with myriad combiners, both official and unofficial.

Of course, a movie-accurate 12-figure Dragonstorm would be impossible as the CG models cheat to hell and back, but something that takes the base concept (twelve Knights that combine into a three-headed dragon) and takes a few liberties with the design to get a good-looking, stable dragon could be done, though it'd require 3P/MP level budget to work. If you skipped the individuals having their own alt modes (which is how the movie did it anyway) it'd be even easier.

Topic: I kinda want to scoop up Steelbane and Skullitron (who will be getting the floor polish treatment for their poor joints) and a bunch of miscellaneous dragon/beast Transformers, like the Beast Hunters Predacons, do a little bit of customizing here and there, and have my very own twelve Knights of Cybertron. Not with the intention of being movie accurate (because the movie kinda sucked and the Knights didn't really do anything) but because the concept of twelve Transformer counterparts to the Knights of the Round Table is awesome in the extreme and I want to do the concept justice.

I'm with you all the way! I've just recently ordered a couple of Prime predacons and will be doing the same. I'll also be using the AOE Dinobots molds seeing as they fit the Knight's design well enough and will require minimal modification to fit the look. And the new Voyager Scorn could be a great place holder for that epic looking red knight from the film.

Bringing the weekend to the close for a number of people (it's Monday morning already for many others), we have some more images of the Transformers: The Last Knight leader class Dragonstorm figure, showing how Stormreign and Dragonicus might be combining - and it's less ladder magic than we might have thought. Brazilian site Hobby Brinquedos brings the three images below, check them out!

Ah Hasbro continues the tradition of having the people they hire to take photos having no idea how to transform a figure properly.

I'd comment on it, but nothing tops crocodile head accessory.

that dragonicus can't even be considered an attempt. They didn't even bother to separate the 2. They just pop the robot head out, stand it, and call it a day.
On the bright side, thanks to that, we now have a good look on dragonstorm's bottom side, and gets the idea on how he combine.

They've been sighted at theme park shops in the U.S., but now comes our first brick-and-mortar/big box retail sighting of Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager Class Megatron and Hound! Both of these figures, which make up the entirety of Wave 2 in this size class, were sighted by yours truly at Walmart in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Hopefully, with these two well-reviewed figures showing up, the rest of Wave 2 won't be far behind!

Thats not the job of those taking the photos.

Just for the record, the photographer has 1 job: take pictures.

Thats it. There is no reason a photographer should ever trouble themselves with even knowing how this thing transforms. Its not their job.

If its mistransformed its not the photographer who did that or even the whole photography team, its the people at Hasbro who gave them the product to photograph.

For it to look properly transformed, Hasbro should have someone part of the TF design team be there and set the toy up for it to be photographed by the photographer. But they are clearly not doing that. And thats Hasbro's marketting fault, not by any means the photographer.

I'm sure as hell glad I didn't buy any of these... ahem... toys before seeing the movie. Learned that one back in 2007.
