Good friends of the site, Ript Apparel, have once again shared with us a brand new Transformers inspired print that will be available for the next 24 hours! Titled "We Built This City, the print, coming from artist Obvian, depicts Metroplex rocking out on his Gibson Explorer-like electric guitar, seemingly to the classic Jefferson Airplane song of the same name.

The print is available, of course, on Womens, Mens, and Kids shirts, as well as several other items. If you choose to order this print from Ript, as a thank you for reading Seibertron.com, you can get 10% off your order when you use the code seibercity!

Guitar? I'm thinking that pick is huge. Probably around Bumblebee's size.l

Are they actually wearing those particular shirts or has the picture been photoshopped over onto their shirts?

Also where's the amp for his guitar. Even Blaster's too small to use his speakers I suppose. Though if Metro did strum a few chords he'd destroy everything around him for miles.

It's Jefferson Starship. They had moved on from Jefferson Aeroplane.

By this point I think they were simply just 'Starship'. Damn this song is nostalgic for me. And so is that other one of theirs 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now'. Happy childhood memories. :)

We built this city, on rock and roll out!

Also, there's never been any such thing as Jefferson "Aeroplane" , it was Jefferson Airplane. >:oP

Yes to Starship when this song was released. 'Sarah' was another favorite of mine by them.

It's tempting.

And then came the Alan Parsons Project, which I believe was some sort of hovercraft.

It bothers me way more than it should that the first line of the quote on this is entirely incorrect.

I think the point was you "supposed to pick" what you to say in this non-existent video.

The fine folks at RIPT Apparel and artist adho1982 have once again gone back to the original animated Transformers: The Movie for inspiration and this time have come up with one that's sure to get a chuckle. Featuring Slag, the design is a lesson in proper manners as he delivers his most memorable (and only) line from the movie.

Image

If you aren't familiar with RIPT Apparel they're an online clothing store that offers up three limited pop culture inspired designs at a discounted price for 24 hours every day starting at Midnight CT. For the next 12 hours the design will be full price, but after that they're gone for good and never coming back. However, they do have an exclusive line that does include some Transformers related designs among other things so it's worth checking out.
