Wow, am I just now realizing there is no triple changer toy for Drift? I really don't care for the AOE line...

Found these in East Peoria, Illinois Walmart a couple of days ago. There are two of every figure in the case. I left them and didn't think to post as news. That was the first new sighting at a Walmart in a long time for me here. There are NO AOE deluxes or Generations deluxes on the pegs at any Walmart in my area and there are 5 in a 20 mile radius that I frequent. Walmart is the new Kmart when it comes to Transformers...sucks to no end.

We've had them in the UK for the past two weeks, which means we got exclusives before the us for once though we lag behind everything else toywise...

I'm hopefully snagging both of these and maybe, just maybe, the optimus prime. Though I need to decide if I want to collect all the versions of that mold.

Remember guys, those exclusives were found in canada months ago (it was my first news credit ever). The distribution is really really wierd.

Anyways, about Streetwise, we might all think it sucks (I know I do) but people will still pay soooooo much to have him before others. I just checked how much he is going for in the listing where the in hand images come from was and he's going for almost 30$

Seibertron at it again! This time to report sightings of the the Age of Extinction Wal-Mart Exclusive 2-packs at the Rolling Meadows, Il Walmart. Revealed awhile back and priced at $14.99 each, these two-packs features Cyberverse figures paired with repaints of Scout/Basic figures from past toy lines. Optimus Prime is paired with Grimlock which is an Energon Cruellock repaint. Stinger a Cyberverse Bumblebee repaint comes with Slug which is a Beast Wars Neo Guiledart repaint. and Finally Bumblebee comes with Strafe which is a Beast Wars Basic Terrorsaur repaint. This has me hoping that they redo Windrazor as Strafe. With all the TFP Terrorcon repaints out there, I think there's a certain amount of customizing to be had in regards to what the combined form looks like. Almost replaces scramble combining, in a way.

Terrorsaur-Strafe is interesting, if just for the novelty of a BW figure getting a re-release nearly 20 years later. But of course they had to put a Bumblebee in it.

these are also appearing in UK Asda's (which i think are owned by walmart) not to keen on them though, look very plastic and just not to my tastes

I'm all for more TFP terrorcons repaints Though I've still got a long way to go before getting all them.

Getting the Slug/Stinger 2 pack might prove interesting in terms of value since you are getting a deluxe there and not a basic

Sorry, with all the crap that Hasbro has released for the AOE line, I have only bought 5 figures for my own collection. Voyager Optimus and Hound (which just feel like large deluxes), and deluxes Crossairs, Drift, and Strafe. I don't think I will be keeping Strafe either since the Dinobots were barely characters in the movie. And non of these figures felt like I got my money's worth. I haven't even seen voyager Galvatron anywhere. Just a lot of these clogging up shelves.

These were released in the UK over a week ago, maybe longer. Why are there never any news posts about when these things get released at UK retail?

I know that feeling, my walmart, and I've counted, has got 8 IDW Legends Primes, 1 IDW Legends Starscream, 3 AOE RID Crosshairs, 4 AOE RID Strafes, 3 Leader class AOE Generations Prime, 6 AOE Grimlocks, 2 AOE Hounds, 5 Dino Sparkers, and 10 or so misc AOE Contruct-bots....

God I hate my walmart.

Best bet is to import at this point, that's what I'll be doing once Windblade and co get released.

Although, these figures are actually fairly easy to do yourself, if you ever wanted to take a dip into customizing. A micro-head paint brush, Meijer brand craft paints for .94 a bottle, spray them with a rattlecan in a nice basecoat of your choice, and

You know, it's really surprising when those three two-packs are some of the few figures I'm excited for from AOE. Mainly because they're old figures and not from the movie.

We just got Galvatron and Hound here in Quebec, Canada. Drift is nowhere to be seen (was never spotted) and that generations armada homage wave (starscream, minicon team) came and went in one week. We also never have masterpieces or platinum editions due to language laws.

Earlier today, we reported that Seibertron, himself, found the newly released Wal*Mart AOE exclusives at a local store in the Chicagoland area, which you can see here.

Seibertron has taken the time to make a Mini gallery of these items, in packaging, so we can get their UPC info. Why, you ask? Because these are part of Wal*Mart's upcoming seasonal reset and most, if not all stores, have these sitting in the back room awaiting a chance to be stocked on shelves and pegs. However, since they're on hand and active in the computer, you can buy them now. With the aid of the UPC info, the toy department associate can help you get them out of the back. (However, not every employee will be able to or be willing to help, so be polite when asking and try someone else if they won't. Manners go a long way in the collector world.)

NOTE: Sometimes Wal*Mart's computer system modifies the UPC for internal stock keeping purposes. If the full UPC doesn't work, give the UPC with the last number removed. The computer should be able to recognize it, then.

Not to mention every mass retail store outside of TRU in the Salt Lake City metro area. I've seen Voyager Hound and Galvatron at TRU, once or twice, but aside from ONE Target that had Wave 2 deluxes briefly, I haven't seen anything past Wave 1 of Deluxes or Voyagers. Every single Target and Walmart still has a bazillion Power Attackers and Dino Sparkers. And like 16 Deluxe Crosshairs. Surprised he's the shelfwarmer of this movie.

And, I kid not, my local Walmart has about 10-15 Evasion Primes on the shelf. They're never going to put anything new out if they can't sell those. Ugh.

Anybody else spotted the Target exclusive Prime and Grimlock set with voyager FoC Grimlock and DOTM Deluxe Prime done in obscene amounts of chrome? I found some yesterday and was blown away by the cost. It was tagged on-shelf for $16.99 for a deluxe AND a voyager.
