No one jacked up the price. It's the same price as it was when the first run was issued. The extra $40 is for non-members. That $40 makes you a member. If you already are a member, then the price is $59.00.

That is for non-members. It's not just for the figure. That $99 bucks make you a member + you get the figure. Additionally, you get:

Magazine every 1 every 2 months for a year (includes postage):
Club figure of the year (no charge)
Discounts in the club store and on Botcon item purchases.
Ability to post in their forums
Whatever else comes with membership.

If you like you can spend the $40 for the membership separately. Then go back and buy the figure for $59.00

Well, i'm a member and i just spent $100 on him - shipping to Europe is expensive.

Imagine if you paid $140 + shipping like most are on eBay

I was a member.. Yearly dues were too much for me to handle..
$99 is too much. I can live without him.

I was really excited for this figure but the heqd sculpt and paint apps (lack there-of) really killed it for me. TFCC could have made this figure so much more..
