With fans eagerly awaiting a triumphant return to screens for Transformers Cyberverse, Boulder Media Character Designers Leo Chiola and Francesco Giglio have put forward some of their concept work to provide an insight into the developmental stages of Cyberverse’s very stylized characters.
Firstly, Francesco Giglio gives us a decent serving of concept work from season one, namely model sheets for Bumblebee, Windblade, Optimus Prime, Starscream, Megatron, Grimlock, Maccadam and several other minor characters. Additionally, Leo Chiola provides us a considerably more sizable art sampling, ranging from Concept Art to Model Sheets to Hand Studies for several major and minor characters from the shows first season. Most interesting are designs for an unused beetle-like creature and an also-unused human child. Only time will tell if these designs, like Alpha Trion, will ever see their day on television screens.
