Courtesy of TFND.net we have our first looks at Transformers Prime Deluxes Airachnid and Dead End, plus Cyberverse Ultra Magnus. Airachnid is a brand new mold, she is seen in both robot and helicopter modes. Deadend is repaint of RID Wheeljack with a brand new head. Lastly we have Cyberverse Commander Ultra Magnus, another new mold that is somewhat reminiscent of his appearance in Animated and the original RID. Check out the images below.

Thanks to the keen eyes of our Energon Pub members we have a little extra info from these images. The Cyberverse Commander Optimus Prime appears to have an open face place. If you recall back when the "Robots in Disguise" first started to appear in the UK a few of these open face plate variants found their way to retail. There is also a figure listed as Shadow Strike Bumblebee just over Deadend and is only partially visible. At first glance the figure would appear to be Deluxe wave three's Hot Shot, but the face deco doesn't quite match up.

But she has four legs! And they should've made Deadend into Makeshift.

So Hot Shot is called Shadow Strike Bumblebee in Japan?

I hope that's the case and it's not some idiotic black repaint, coming to clog the shelves some more...

RhA wrote:Ladies and gentlemen... We've got Magnus.

F YEAH. I can deal with that right now! He better get a Voyager!

Oh yeah, Airachnid. The weapons are dumb, but she looks surprisingly good otherwise. I hope they can figure out some sort of spider mode for her...

Oh and Dead End looks kind of cool, but I'm gonna pass, I don't need an evil Wheeljack repaint.

It looks like this version of Optimus Prime has the variant head with the mouth instead of the face plate.

Make a Magnus in Voyager size and I'll consider replacing my City Commander with it.

Kind of disappointed with Airachnid though

That is something I was wondering, because if you look, there is a wheel above where it says "Shadow Strike Bumblebee". If black I buy. [Insert my motto here]

I'm definitely getting an Ultra Magnus, as soon as it shows up as a Voyager or whatever. Also getting Dead End. I'm so glad I can get this mould as an evil con, and leave my Generations Wheeljack as is. Also getting Air-rachnid, but I am kinda bummed out about the rotors. I'm sure some 3rd party company will make new rotors for her, though, that give her 4 legs. Stoked. Air-rachnid is definitely on the top of the list.

Airachnid looks about as good as I would expect for that intricate of a design.

These are Japanese names (as Hot Shot is clearly labeled Shadow Strike Bumblebee) so you never know, if he come out in the US he may be Makeshift. I'd hope for better colors though, cause that thing is ugly.

Airachnid looks solid enough. They didn't do so great on the propeller legs though. Wish there were 4 propellers not 3, or that one propeller would have split into 2 smaller legs, while 2 propellers would have opened up into 2 long legs.

Ultra Magnus is purely awesome. I hope they make a voyager version though. Love the visual homage to Animated Ultra Magnus.

If they make a Voyager Magnus, I will buy it without question. Nothin' against Cyberverse, they're awesome in their own right, but i'd rather have Magnus stand tall amongst his fellow 'Bots.

Kinda dissapointed that Airachnid can't have a spider mode (from the look of it), but it's rather show-accurate. Another Buy On Sight.

Chinese, sweetie. These are Hasbro figures for the Asian market outside of Japan. Shadow Strike Bumblebee has me curious though... Hang on a sec.

OK, the flames match, but I'm still not convinced, as I've spotted another set of wheels just above the name, indicating a new figure.

That's a daring admission, lol. It'll be awesome to have this Magnus as a voyager, but I don't think I could replace City Commander with him. An original mold, eh? Should we be expecting him to appear in the animation?

Airachnid doesn't look too bad either. I can understand if she won't have the full eight-legged spider mode as each leg would probably be quite flimsy.

I'll pass on Deadend.

Dead End is very ugly, I love it! Didn't want to get another Wheeljack, as Classics is so good, but it looks like a nice toy, so will snap this repaint up in a second. I get a very Waspinator vibe from it.

Excited to see Magnus as well, here's hoping for a larger version.
Airachnid is a must.

I'd need to see a full-sized Magnus out of TF: Prime, but I like the modern take of the cyberverse fig, perhaps enough to replace City Commander, perhaps not...

Time will tell.

I'm liking the alt design for Airachnid.
I'm kinda excited about Magnus but if they have him on the show he better not be a pretentious prick like he was in TFA. It's bad enough that they gave him the hammer and paint scheme but they better not give him the attitude or I won't buy the toy just on general principle.
As for Dead End... Don't like the paint job and think it's just so damn lazy to be doing repaints this early in the game.

i won't be hunting for that airracnid but I'll pick her up if I see her on a peg. Dead-end doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Magnus looks great, I could even see that repainted as onslaught.

seeing as how ironhides gettin himself a deluxe, im excited to see if magnus gets similar treatment. dead end is ok

but the figure i was most excited for out of these, airachnid, is actually coming off kind of lackluster to me. the vehicle mode looks great, the robot mode is ok, but there doesnt appear to be a way to turn her into her spider mode. i had such high expectations for this figure; i only hope that theres something more to this girl that we havent seen yet. i dont know, she may turn out like rid cliff and arcee and i end up liking them even though theyre not the best

Weird, Knock Out always reminds me of Dead End (at least in car mode) never thought that they'd use the name for a puke colored Wheeljack. Maybe they can have a whole subgroup of 'cons that are puke colored redecos of 'bots and their leader can be puke colored Optimus aka Toxitron.

Hey, it'd let them get out yet another redeco of Bumblebee, you know how much they love doing that...

Dead End looks horrible, what a waste. Airachnid looks ok but it unfortunately reminds me of ROTF Rampage. I'll need to see in hand pictures of her. I am excited about Magnus. I really hope he gets upscaled & show time.

"Airracchnid"'s spider legs are too short and too few.
Not sure what's with the pumpkin colors on Deadend.
UM's pretty nifty. Like Ironhide, he looks to be a blend of many other-continuity counterparts.

Once again, Cyberverse steals the show.

Va'al wrote:So Hot Shot is called Shadow Strike Bumblebee in Japan?

I don't think so. First off, it makes no sense. Second off, line up Deadend and Airracchnid's pics and you get:

I think it's safe to assume the other tire/bumper is Bumblebee's and the name plate Hot Shot's.

You folks are acting like we haven't gotten an original mold Ultra Magnus since G1 or something. We just got one a couple years ago with Animated. There was one for RID as well.

These look good. I hope Ultra Magnus gets a larger figure. Cyberverse aren't something I buy.

Never really liked the TFP Wheeljack mold. Deadend hasn't changed my mind.
Airracchnid (spelling from the pics) is nice but it wouldn't have killed them to have a 4th rotor blade

Dead End looks like a sports car version of Bludgeon which is cool. And Airachnid looks great considering how complex looking her character model is. I hope this line lasts a long time. Even the repaints are looking awesome.

I think Megatron Wolf means that most fembots that have been released, except Blackarachnia, have been bikes.

I totally agree with DISCHARGE. My Dark of the Moon collection consists of 4 Commander Class toys (Optimus, Sentinel, Megatron and Ironhide), that is all I have. Cyberverse toys are really cool for such a small toy. Ultra Magnus looks like he will be a fun little addition to my Prime collection and I will get him even if a Voyager version shows up.

Well, if you are trying to establish a new villian, might as well kill off a character that people like, but you never have any intention of ever using on the show. Everyone may like him...but hes kinda lame nonetheless.

With the Airachnid toy missing a leg, now wondering if Breakdown will come as a pile of disassembled parts in a box :p
