Oh my lord Skullitron has the worst paint apps I've seen. It looks like he explosively vomited all over himself.....
Not to mention all those blatant hack job brush strokes all over the armor. It's a total garbage paint job. It's shockingly bad actually.

I can't stand Lockdown's deluxe figure (even though I have him), and Hot Rod's movie character is probably going to suck, but I am digging deluxe Hot Rod's alt mode, those paint apps, and larger size! I get more and more drawn to this figure the more I look at it. It's not worth $20, but would gladly pick him up on sale.

The voyager is pretty good but he is a bit kibble heavy in both modes with piece from one mode trying to hide in the other one and faling (lik the wings in robot mode and shoulders/pecs in vehicle mode.
But hes good and I like his integrated arm cannon.
Hound is fine but I dont know if I like him better than the previous one. He is far more of a shellformer this time with more alt mode kibble stuck around the robot mode. The articulation for the legs is very restricted. But not a bad figure by any means, just not overly imaginative (like the previous one). Looks more like Hound though, so there's a plus. Not sure if I should do a pictorial review, have we seen enough of these guys?
Every Hot Rod toy from this film, even the non transforming cars, can only be purchased at Walmart in the US.

We knew One Step Cogman was coming for a while now but we never saw the toy fully revealed. Finally, this toy was found in Toy Kingdom in Makati, in the Philippines along with a totally new toy that was never revealed before: One Step Scorn!
You can see images of these toys in their packages below. They were found by TFW2005 member vproject. Legion Dragonstorm and Hound were also found in this store and you can view reviews of those two legions here if you are interested. There is currently no review for these newly revealed one steps so if any of you find some online, let us know!

It looks like the Premier Editions are the only toys with licensed vehicle modes, I don't see any Aston Martin info anywhere. Also, he seems to reuse the basic transformation of the... *counts* third and latest RiD Sideswipe one.

I think that's the point.
He's supposed to be old, rusted, and decayed. The entire point is he looks damaged. Its intentional. This is also an extreme closeup. In reality the paint on the face should probably look fine to naked eye, disfigured sure, but that's the point.
It gets across the disfigurement he's suffered. He's not supposed to have a nice pristine face.

Then what is this giant western star logo doing on the back of this titan changer?

The tiny turbo changers also have a western star licence

I noticed that too.
Nice to have another One step dino though in the form of Scorn.
Strange that I've yet to see a single "Baby Dinobot" bit of merchandise - not even a stuffed one.
----
I was perplexed by how different Nitro is in the Movie the toy certainly IS Not a Saab Fighter jet like he seems to be in the Movie.
(If that is Nitro in the Movie).

hey rainmaker, you mention a card that connects to form a biger image for the mission to cybertron toys. Could you show us a picture of that card for both skullitron and megatron? I dont think we have ever seen it.
I don't have Megatron yet, but Skullitrons card piece is part of the word Transformers
Can you take a pic and show us what that looks like?

Now that you have berserker, do you think it was a wise trade?
Also, Toysrus lets you return open boxes?

But that covers like 50% of the toys that should be based on licenced vehicles. Saying the premiere line is the only one with licenced vehicles becomes quite the hyperbole.
Plus we have no clue what Berserker is really supposed to be or even if he is in the film. So his one step could be just as legit as his deluxe if he doesnt exist.
Also, I am now wondering if Sqweeks has a mercedes trademark on all his premiere line stuff only because his cross sell is Drift
If he has a mercedes trademark on everything linked to him, but isnt a mercedes, does that make him still licenced?

Not really, I traded a bot with a good robot mode, annoying transformation and a mediocre alt mode for a bot with a good robot mode, annoying transformation and a mediocre alt mode
Also, yes

nor have we seen anything toywise for Onslaught, Dreadbot, Bulldog(WW1 Tank), Mohawk, WW2 Mercedes Bumblebee, WW2 Hot Rod(whatever his alt mode was back then?), Wreck-Gar(or whoever that 1920's Mecedes Benz Dump Truck is supposed to be?), the mysterious Amphion Class Submarine Transformer?, the red McLaren 570S Transformer? & Silver LeEco LeSEE Pro Concept?

I heard "rumors" that Dreadbot, Hooligan and some guy named Warpath (Who I assume is "Bulldog") would be getting only one steps.
Take it with a grain of salt though.

One of the main prerequisites of licensing is having the logo present on the toy itself, molded or otherwise. RiD 2001 Side Burn had the Dodge Viper logo tampoed on almost every version of the mold upon US release for instance. Coupled with the Mercedes info on Deluxe Class Sqweeks' packaging, that leads to a small amendment to my original statement.
Licensing info has to be exact, taking into account every single appearance, be it in physical form, or via images. It's the latter that creates some unusual occurrences:
- The Western Star and Chevrolet info on the Tiny Turbo Changers baggies is not just because of the toys themselves, rather Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are proudly displayed on them, plus more importantly their vehicle modes, logos and all. The individual instructions don't show that info unless the figure is either Optimus Prime or Bumblebee.
- Mercedes-Benz info on Sqweek's packaging? This is where vanity is kind of a bad thing, as their logo is prominently displayed on his cross sell Drift's chest in stock images.
To pull things back a bit, I still find it odd that the Turbo Changer Optimus Prime and Bumblebee toys all seem to be licensed, yet the rest of the range is not, even if the Premier Edition version is.

Mercedes licensing even appears in the back of Slug's box, and he doesn't turn into a vehicle
Just got and opened the Voyager Megatron.
And damn, I love this figure already. Articulation is great, transformation is fun and jet mode looks good too.

Many of those are falling victim to the desire to put some breathing space between TLK & Bee's Movie - but I wasn't so much thinking of the regular toys as much as the Baby Dinos seem to be designed to hype them as does Dragonstorm - so where are the baby Dino or Dragonstorm stuffed toys etc... If I was 8 I'd want a T-shirt with a Transforming dragon on it I expect.
