The Transformers battle explodes into uncharted territory when the Titans Return! The Deluxe Wave 03 set of four features Hot Rod, Twinferno, Triggerhappy, and Breakaway priced at $79.99 for the set.

I find it kinda funny how they specifically list Megatron as G1 Megatron, and they referred to Optimus as G2 rather than Laser.

Someone goofed up on the TFsource deluxe listing because it says they won't be in stock till December 2017. :lol:

But the actual dates have me surprised that they're coming out this soon, granted they won't hit saturation till hopefully after the holidays.

When I was on BBTS last night, all wave 3 products said expected in November. I wonder if this is further evidence that these online retailers get an air shipment in early with a slower ocean shipment with the bulk of their order later. Early preorders would then be scheduled to ship in November, with later ones in Dec...

Plus, BBTS sold out of individual Gnaw immediately. Army building FTW? (Or loss if you just wanted Gnaw...)

Hasbro is smarter than we give them credit. They knew few cared for getaway or at least what they did with him, and hats why they shortpacked him and made Hot Rod more numerous in the wave 3 case (since he has the most recognizable name).

im sure with him being one a case he will shelfwarm. that's what usually happens. the others will be gone and he will be there all alone. sad. waiting for a kid to buy him but none will. because hes a sad excuse of a repaint and they could've retooled it better or added more than just a new head.

Some people buy the toys are they are cool and not because of the media - heck I buy RID toys and I've never even watched a single episode of the TV show, and I buy Movie toys and I've not even seen the last two movies all the way through.

So being a sports car will be some interest - I'll be wanting him for the spare head and his gun.

That said sometimes a non-show colouring can shelf warm this seems to have happened to G1 coloured RID Grimlock to some extent.

Got everything I wanted preordered except Breakaway Getaway since he's not available on his own and they're charging a lot more for the wave of 4 deluxes. Ended up ordering Hot Rod, Triggerhappy, Twinferno, Megatron, Sixshot and the Legends guys. I'll probably find Getaway at retail, I found Chromedome fast enough.

I'm honestly surprised Sixshot isn't sold out, is he not something people are that interested in?

Well sixshot is the only leader in the case so BBTS probably ordered a ton without hesitation. No reason he shold be sold out right away.

And Getaway can be ordered individually at AJ's toy chest.

Probably a dumb question but...Just to confirm.. Does Sixshot and/or Sky Shadow have any integration with TR Fortress Maximus? My gut says no, but I just wanted to be sure. For me TR is a slippery slope...

I got fully vested in CW because I loved the design and quantity of characters, and their integration despite there being so many reuses...

However for me right now TR is like this...

We (my son and I) Have Fort Max...I have no interest in any of the TM's legends, deluxes, or Voyagers, even though the designs are very well done. I want to get PM Prime because it looks cool for a Leader Class + integration with Fort Max... I do NOT want to get Blaster or Soundwave, because despite integration with FM, then my mind tells me...I gotta get all the legends tablets to go with them...My son REALLY wants Blaster though...and I still haven't used my 20% coupon from HTS yet :-?

Get Blaster, he's fun and a great homage to the G1 figure. Hasbro did a good job with him. And get rewind as a tablet, like that you can do the whole interaction thing, and youcan end it there by saying that you are basing it off of his casettes in the film and the only one around is Rewind

And yeah, I am pretty sure all eladers interact with Fort Max. For Sky shadow, you can tell with those little flaps near the bottom of his base at the extremities:

I'm not as excited about Wave 3 as the rest of the fandom. I did pre-order Hot Rod since the price isn't so bad on BBTS and I already have something in my POL. Don't think I'm getting any of the other deluxes unless I see a great deal. I also pre-ordered Six Shot. As mentioned above, I also thought it might get sold out. It'll be the most I've spent on a leader figure, and the first time I've played full retail.

Sixshot hasn't shown any compatibility yet, though I think him having his tank mode renamed 'battle station mode' is pretty telling.

I concur. I recently picked up Blaster and Rewind and they're a lot of fun. I saw someone post pics of Metroplex using Blaster in boombox mode ... I did it and was lots of silly fun. I also have buzzsaw (ordered it a while ago thinking I'm going to pick up SW, but I'm not). At some point I'll transform him into tablet mode and stick him in Blaster, because I can.

I kind of like the idea of Rewind commanding a combined Fort Max-Blaster base mode, and then they transform with Fort Max in robot mode carrying Boombox-mode Blaster with Rewind inside.

Anyway...fun fact, all of TR can be ordered thus far at BBTS for $899 USD prior to shipping. To find them all at the cheapest retail (Wal-Mart, Target, & Walgreens) would be around $828 prior to tax.

Yea if you want everything and willing to pay full retail, you might as well just order from TF Source or Toy Dojo. No tax and free shipping for orders over $150. And don't have to hunt anything down. But I'm like many people here, looking for a deal I'm still debating if I should keep my preorder for Six Shot argh.

Amazon prices haven't changed much, and I've been checking fairly regularly. Their wave 2 prices are odd. I did see deluxes offered from amazon directly, but for $20 so I passed. Everything else is ok.

When I checked this am, I'm pretty sure Gnaw was the only thing that sold out. I'm surprised megatron sold out. Thought most people wanted this mold as blitzwing. Plus, cw megs was well received and mp megs coming soon. How many megatrons do people need? (rhetorical question)

I know its rhetorical but I will tell you this: they will all be mine :twisted:

Also, since sixshot is sent in solid cases (meaning he will be the only leader on the shelves), and also him not being as popular as either of the Leaders sold so far, I think its safe to wait for a more affordable price to pick him up (if budget is tight). I can easily foresee HTS still having him until they have another 20% off sale. Although, of all the leaders out there, if there is one to get full price I think this guy warrants it most (a lot of effort went into him). All I mean to say is taht a discount is always fun (and possible) but if I would buy one Hasbro toy at full price, it would be this guy.

I don't doubt you, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. I can't see any ramps or connection ports.

Gnaw was sold out at BBTS minutes (if not sooner) from when I received the notification email from BBTS. Megs was still available at that point. So, yes, if anyone trusts me and my eyes (which given my age, probably isn't a sure thing) Gnaw was the first single Wave 3 figure to sell out at BBTS.

I guess I'll have to army build through Target or something...

The legends class has been abundant in the US right? With Gnaw not being shortpacked, I am sure everyone will get as many as they need. Like how everyone out there who wanted to troop build bombshell was able to.

Yeah, the pre-orders are kinda going fast it seems. I put in for what I wanted this morning (wave 3 legends 3pk, Rodders and Triggerhappy) when I saw the email. They didn't even have pics at BBTS up yet (they do now).

Megs looks like a really cool mold, but I think I'll hold out for Blitzwing (if that is a happening thing) as I don't have one yet. I'm undecided on Cantankerous Prime, the mold looks all over the place with hits and misses, maybe if they make an Octane out of it (has that been confirmed or even rumored?).
