Video Review for Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce

Redwing and Refraktor playing with their new toys. The Micromasters are all a lot of fun. Cratermaker totally steals the show. An already great mold with a fantastic new color scheme. The plane guys are the next best followed by Road Police and then the Fireline/Wheelblaze truck mold. The new molds for Ricon (Whose alt mode VERY closely resembles CW Ironhide IMO) and Irontread are okay with Irontread being the better of the two due to a kinda nifty rotating cab transformation, but the articulation and aesthetics for both are hampered by both of them basically wearing their entire alt modes on their backs. Overall, a really fun set though. I am very happy I got it.

And I found Refraktor. I kinda forgot about him given how hard he has been to find at retail and the announcement of the toy-accurate three pack. My Walmart had three of him, but I only bought one. Very unfortunate for whoever comes after me.

While I was watching the Slamdance portion of the review I kept thinking...Warpath where the hell is your upper body son!


But a great set indeed that I will be picking up but something else came to mind. It would have been epic if they had included some decals just like they did with LG G2 Megatron. The option for the fans to apply the SS on the sides and maybe a decal to go outside directly above the cabin....I'm just saying, 'nuff said!

That is pretty cool. I'm surprised, and I'll be happy to say i was wrong, if it actually shows up in my area. To WM credit, one of the stores in my area did sell premium toys last year such as the Marvel Legends Infinity Gauntlet and Mjolh Mewmew Thor's Hammer.

Price I would imagine to be the same $79.99, but you don't have to pay for shipping if you see it in store. I presume that Predaking didn't make it to US Retail because the transition of TRU closing, may have been to soon for Hasbro to get another distributor...I just wish there was some way of knowing if Walmart would even carry Omega Supreme

Of course, this is the same walmart that goes overboard on anti theft devices for everything, and even locks up shaving products and pain relief medication. I imagine they'll have to hire a security guard for the toy section if they get these higher priced items...

Might be in luck getting Jetfire at a local Walmart here in Virginia.. I got it,I could easily buy him off of HasbroPulse, but at a local Walmart, spotted the shelf price tag for him. To me that would be more gratifying to buy him in a store. Trust me, that will only hold for awhile. In addition, at a Target, spotted the shelf price tags for the Seeker 3 pc and the Mircomaster 10 pack.. Fingers crossed!

On the TV show, yes. According to his biography and once-used power in issue 4 of the comic book, he creates a hologram of himself. So, whichever you want it to be, it can be.

I’m just going off the literal product description I know how Mirage’s powers work. It’s a place holder term it’s short and gets the rough point across. Say holo Mirage and people know what you’re talking about.

Maybe it just sounded better than Inviso-Mirage? I don't know.

Don't know if it's the same elsewhere, but my local Walmart is going to perform the reset of the toy section this coming week, excited to see new stock! Keep your eyes peeled for hung up floor planners, and the date on the bottom.

Will that 3 pack be on brick-n-mortar shelves, or is it just an online exclusive? Because if the price is right, it would be quite tempting.

Covert Clones, ‘Holo’ characters, hate to say it but the Autobots appear to be experimenting in a seemingly disposable warrior class. I mean Weaponizers are designed to be weaponized dismembered corpses. I fear to ponder the depths the heroic Autobots will resort to for victory. Just snatch up some innocent Micromaster walking by “guess what little buddy you’re my shield and/or gun today”.

I always pictured weaponozers as more of a super robot gimmick where they just disassemble and reassemble after use. You know, so the animators get to reuse the stock animation footage as for combining Micromasters, I view it as something that they did to themselves to aid the bigger bots, with the cons following suit.

So what's the deal with Bluestreak and Soundblaster? When do they release? I kinda missed that bit of info during the hubbub of Comic-Con.

Just wanted to share this in here before I put it under my Sightings page for Virginia. Got lucky, snagged the Micromaster 10 Pak. Of course in the photo is the Studio series Long Haul I found at the same Target. Unique thing about the Micromaster set, someone had returned it for some reason.. It had been opened and the figures cut from the inside bubble package. Took it to the customer service, they gave me 15% off the original price and they where all good, no damage.
Still no Seeker 3 Pak or Jetfire, fingers crossed!

Oh dude I love that! I totally have something like that in my head canon. I think it was just late and I was wanting to be creative and silly you know me, also maybe to give people a chuckle especially with all the bad news this last weekend.

right now, the seeker three pack is only being sold in select stores. Check the availability online- if your store is listed among those that carry it, you're in luck. supposedly will be available for order online later this month.

They're both set to come out in the States in the first week of October. They're Walmart exclusives. The Bluestreak preorder is sold out, but Soundblaster should still be available. I thought he was only $30, but the listing below is $40.

I don't know how they're being distributed outside of the US.

That is weird, Sounblaster was $30.00 when I ordered back during SDCC.

Fellow Seibertronians! It seems Siege continues to surprise us, and today, it has given us something rather big. Thanks to TFW2005 User cryotek, we now have confirmation that the new Transformers War For Cybertron: Siege Commander Class Jetfire has actually arrived at US retail! This sighting was found in a Walmart in Chillicothe, Ohio.



Contrary to what the pictures may lead you to believe, Jetfire does not retail for $49.00, and instead retails for the normal price of $80.00.

If you snap a pic of the price you could argue that that’s the price that’s there, and that you shouldn’t pay $80 for something marked $49; you may just get it for that price.

That may work with Walmart Customer service because either

1) They Dont care
2) Dont want the customer to make a scene and have bad PR or
3) are too dumb to know the difference...

But in truth, that is just the Siege or SS Leader Price Tag. They are supposed to make a new label for new items, but sometimes are just too lazy or don't care to.

I had found a case up for sale in the Mooresville Walmart 2 days ago. This is awesome they are out for sale at brick and mortar. Has anyone had luck finding the Target Rainmaker 3 pack for 79.99 anywhere?

We know they are out there...Scalpers seem to be snatching them up pretty quickly though

I got my Rescue Patrol today and Stakeout has two right thighs. Fortunately it's not that big of a deal but still it's the wrong part. Does anybody else have that issue

Hopefully this explains why the Wal-Mart near me hasn't ordered anything in a while. They may have been trying to clear space on the shelf. Then again, they haven't exactly been that great lately...

You never know with Walmart. One Walmart near me that used to be my go-to for getting new figures early has had basically their entire action figure aisle empty with some items in 3-4 shopping carts near the bike racks since late April! I found that they finally re-organized their toy section and restocked the SS deluxes. With wave 5.

Just gotta wait on Starscream to go on sale on amazon to get him or something, he is the only one I am not really chomping at the bit to get, since he isn't an exclusive, not out yet, and is kinda the weakest looking one

Signed up for the red card 2 weeks ago to get Redwing. TF-Kev ordered his after getting his red card, and there was an offer to get a $40 coupon if you signed up for red card. I caught the tail end of the deal and got the coupon today. it was a really awesome incentive, and I use Target enough that it will make itself handy.

I think Brunt's colors go really with Redwing. It's a catchy color combo. although, messing with him in this capacity, Brunt is definitely the figure who lends himself the least to weaponizing. He is the best individual by himself, but Sixgun is the best at weaponizing

Exclusives are the bane of any international collector. Whenever an item is not part of the mainline, all anyone cares about is how hard it will be to track down. And it's not simple since exclusives only get distributed if Hasbro finds a willing retailer. With Target having failed in Canada, it's never sure if a Target exclusive will make its way there. So it is good news to learn that the Siege Target exclusives will be distributed in Canada through Toysrus. This was already the place where the now surfacing Battle Damaged Studio Series Megatron was found, along with the Studio Series 15 Bumblebee, so we can see a trend.

The two Siege exclusives being referred to here are the Seeker three pack and the Micromaster ten pack. The ten pack has just been found in Montreal, Quebec. It is currently on sale for $47 but has a regular price of $60. The sighting comes to us from Gunslinger over at Cybertron.ca. Speaking of Micromasters, the wave 3 bots (ex: Blackjack) have been found in a Quebec City Walmart. The Seeker three pack will be coming soon, but has yet to be found.
