The Kids Logic Official YouTube Chanel has uploaded a brief commercial for their recently released Mecha Nations 01 Optimus Prime. While the video is short it does tease several upcoming releases toward it's end as lightning illuminates the scene. We already knew that they planned on releasing a Megatron, but this video seems to indicate several more figures are on the way. Based on the silhouettes the characters appear to be Bumblebee, Soundwave, Starscream, the aforementioned Megatron, and Grimlock. Check the embedded video below.

TFC Toys made the Primars figure and the recently release Nemesis Primars but it doesn't look nearly as good as the Kids Logic one. The TFC one isn't too bad but has a big panel hanging of its back.

The Nemesis Primar is cool, if only because it comes with a Jetpack that's compatible with Classics Nemesis Prime. It's $70 on BBTS.
Courtesy of our friends at Kids Logic we have a couple of updates on their line of their officially licensed super deformed Transformers characters. First we have another image that teases several upcoming releases. The silhouetted image features their previously released Mecha Nations 01 Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Soundwave, and Starscream. Not pictured is Megatron, but we know he is on their radar, as they released a teaser last summer at ACGHK 2013. The second image seems to indicate they will be releasing a smaller version of Mecha Nations 01 Optimus Prime, no detail regarding release, distribution, exclusivity, etc.
I like these designs, but just can't budget Prime. I do hope the rest of the line (and Prime) get released at a smaller scale as I hope it would be easier for me to justify. However, all bets are off on Starscream - I will get him regardless of size and (reasonable) pricing. Awaiting pics of the final reveal.

Kids Logic has updated their Facebook page with images of the rest of the upcoming TF01 Series. Previously seen as just a silhouette, we get to see clear pictures of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Soundwave and Grimlock. These look to be available as a box set. Still yet to be seen is the upcoming Megatron. Also there they will have a special edition Black Convoy available in select markets only. You can check out our full gallery of Optimus Prime here.
Awesome. I have Optimus and he's a great little figure; very posable, gorgeous paint job, extensively LED-equipped. Definitely want all of these. Megatron is noticeably missing, however…
BTW, their Facebook page also lists a limited edition Black Convoy remold.
EDIT: going by the Facebook post, "TF01" constitutes a single box set of the first five figures (Prime, Bee, Scream, Wave and Grim).
Unbelievably cool! Since I am very much lacking in display space for pretty much anything at the moment these little guys would be perfect. I'd be willing to make a bit of extra room for them and even set up a shelf big enough that I could "book-end" them with my SD Shining Gundam and Master Gundam figures since they'd be right close to the same size. They'd totally outclass the Gundams but the entire shelf would still look cool regardless.

"Deliciously Wicked" is the term that popped into my mind.
I wish these guys would go find another brand to mangle and leave transformers alone. Go make some super deformed G.I. Joes, Barbie dolls, or Ninja Turtles.
Almost every year we see a Chibi line for Transformers that die after two waves after ushering out the same characters, Optimus, Bumblebee, Megs, Screamer, Soundwave, etc.
It would be interesting to see one of these lines have some sort of longevity and release characters that aren't ones that we already have 100+ versions of.
So does this mean that I wasted my money with SD Optimus Prime? If they are going to be a set of six? Does the SD Optimus Prime come in 2 sizes? When will they be released? Thanks
