I just hope the leg panels on Nightbeat peg together easier than Bumblebee.

Video Review - Transformers Generations Deluxe Jhiaxus

In a plot twist, YouTube reviewer PaxCybertron did not upload a video for Crosscut first, but rather a look at another Generations figure from the same wave, of which we've seen in-hand images before: the redeco and extensive remold of deluxe Starscream, Jersey Shore Jhiaxus! Check it out in the embedded clip below.

Jhiaxus looks a lot better than I thought. Any chance for a repaint into Armada Skywarp?

Got an email from TRU this morning. Jetfire has been pushed to October for release.

I, love that Jiaxus! With that insane amount of remolding, he's totally worth owning, even if I already have Armada Starscream.

YouTube reviewer PaxCybertron just dropped by with a video review for Crosscut. A repaint of Skids from an earlier Generations wave with a completely new head mold. Will you be getting this figure? Let us know in the Seibertron.com forums and check out the video we've embeded below and remember keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best galleries around!

Works for me... but as far as the figure itself... meh. Don't have enough connection to the character. Might buy it just to keep it in package, toss in the attic, and sell in 5 years if it ends up being a rarity, but I'm not going out of my way to find it, either. He's not a "big" enough character to go in my Lost Light display (what all did he do, other than be name checked, after all?).

its a shame that crosscut is just gray plastic. not that i expected the shiney united treatment, but one can dream. gray plastic aside, i really dig it.

I think Crosscut is the better looking of the two characters from that mold.

I want this guy most out of the wave. More than a headmaster thzt isnt a headmaster. More than a retool thats not colored the same as his G1/G2 imcarnation. More than a robot with a geisha head.

He's made of silver plastic, not grey.

Will it be affected by some sort of SPS (Silver Plastic Syndrome) down the line?

No such thing. And it doesn't look like he has metallic flake which is the main culprit of such brittle plastic.

really wanted the skids version of this guy but i seem to have missed out on that wave.

I'm on the fence about getting him as he's not a character I care for... but i still want the mould grr.

If you want that mold, you are better off with this one than Skids. Skids has issues locking his panels in. We all know how much Ryan wants to show the best version of the toys in the galleries and even he couldnt get the darn doors to fit in properly

It looks like crosscut has fixed that particular issue. I dont want to own two similar molds that I dont absolutely adore (unlike some seeker molds) so in retrospect I would much rather have had this version of the mold than Skids (though his prices on e-bay do comfort my purchase).

hate it when that happens! thanks, it is a bit of a comfort knowing there were issues. Hopefully they fixed them on crosscut though at times I think it depends on a particular batch rather than the whole run.

I'm a bit confused re the wave containing skids and waspinator.. seems like a couple of sites are saying they'll be out september 2014? was there a 2nd run or is that a mistake you think?

Also take into account Skids has his upper legs misassmbled, and that the fix could potentially ruin it as the ball joints in the hips can snap off. Crosscut and Rollbar seem to have that fixed.

The fix can easily snap off the limb. It happened to me. I tried dissassembling him by twisting the hip and when it gave way, the ball joint was still attached to the leg, but apart from the body #-o

Crazy glue helped though and I usually forget it ever happened, until SOME people bring it up...

Probably a character I've wanted for a while to get a figure. Thecollector75 takes a look at the leader of the G2 Decepticons!

We saw these figures show up in the Philippines, but we now have confirmation of their existence at US retail too, thanks to fellow Seibertronian Bounti76. Check out below photo proof of Generations Nemesis Prime and Cliffjumper, with their respective Targetmasters. The figures come from a Toys R Us in Murray, Utah; make you sure you flag up your own sightings in the appropriate section too!

Meanwhile, at my local Canadian TrU, the Bomshel/Reflector set, along with his wavemate, are priced at 15$tx. That's 50% more expensive than the American price. TrU, what the hell?

I sent them this sighting like 3 weeks ago and never responded!

They make stuff too difficult here.
