Just called Orland Park toys r us. The girl on the phone stated that they did not have any and said she did not believe they had recieved any today.

Spoke to North Riverside toys r us and was told I was the 42nd person to call there today looking for one. They also did not have one.

Wood ridge TRU on 75th had 2 sound waves this morning but both had been put on hold. 1 had already been picked up and 1 was sitting right in front of me at the customer service desk

Orland TRU did not have any in and when they ran a search for me it looked like none of the stores in the state had any in stock.

Wow I must of been lucky to get Soundwave. When I was waiting for the guy to get Soundwave, he had to get him out of a locked cage in the back. At that time there was one more. I seen it. He asked which box did I want. One of the boxes was a little dented.

Nothing on the Soundwave front but I did come across plenty of new deluxes today. Here's a roundup of new figure sightings that I saw today ...

Wood Dale Target only had the Predacons Rising Optimus Prime vs Predaking 2 packs and Grimwings.

Schaumburg TRU had nothing new per se but there were 2 TFP Voyager class Skyquakes around 7:30pm.

I grabbed the last set of Beast Hunters Deluxes at Schaumburg Target on Higgins. No Predacons Rising figures.

Schaumburg Rd Target had one full set of IDW Generations Deluxes (Orion Pax, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Trailcutter) which I grabbed. If I recall correctly, there were two Sandstorms here along with a Blitzwing and Springer.

Streamwood Target had IDW Generations Trailcutter and Bumblebee left. Also had the Generations Legends 2 packs of Megatron with Chop Shop and Starscream with Waspinator (about 4 each, might have been a full case). There was also another set of the new Beast Hunters deluxes remaining at this store. If I recall correctly, there were 2 full cases of the Triplechangers (4 Sandstorms, 2 Blitzwings, and 2 Springers total).

Hoffman Estates Target only had the Predacons Rising Skylynx figure.

Target is apparently where it's at right now. Kudos to them for getting all of the new Transformers!

Nice finds there! None of the IDW Deluxes at Targets in Woodridge or Willowbrook as of this morning.

Galleries for these guys soon, I hope?

You bet! Working on those galleries and some Masterpiece galleries later today and throughout the rest of the week. I finally got a chance to open up my Takara Masterpiece Soundwave yesterday. Man is that a nice figure. Can't believe I've waited this long to do his gallery.

I really like Orion Pax. Nice little figure. Bumblebee's got a screwy shade of yellow (too bright).

I'm on the fence about Orion Pax, I'm not so much into the history or mythos of the characters. But his package art gives him such a creepy facial expression! Hoping to see it in person to make up my mind. You should shoot a close-up of his face w/ the artwork for comparison.

Orion Pax just seems to have way to much kibble to interest me. Bumble Bee does nothing for me, and I prefer Hoist over Trail Breakcutterbreaker19er. Looks like Megatron will be my only pick up from the series. I will be hitting North Riverside TRU, Broadview Target and maybe Westchester Target after work to see if they have anything.

The artwork on all 4 of these leaves much to be desired, in particular the faces like you mentioned, which is a shame since they all have really nice face sculpts. Orion Pax's face sculpt on the toy is much nicer than the version they had on display at Toy Fair earlier this year.

Saw 2 Generations IDW Trailcutters and 2 Orion Pax figures at Golf Mill Target today. Only new figures there.

Saw Beast Hunters Voyager Class Shockwave and Ultra Magnus at TRU across the street but nothing else new.

Rosemont Target continues to be the best source for Predacons Rising figures though I grabbed the Beast Fire Predaking from there the other day. This upcoming Sunday is the official street date for Predacons Rising figures at Targets (whether or not they put them out by then is a different story altogether).

Another thing about Orion Pax ... his bio is odd.

Long before the burden of leadership was forced upon him, Orion Pax was a great thinker, an intellectual revolutionary. He spent his life plugged into a console, sorting, parsing, and filing historical data. As the world outside grew darker and more bleak, he saw hope for the future in his world's past. He saw, when no one else would, that Cybertron could once again be free - and he has clung to that dream even through the dark times since.

No mention of him becoming Optimus Prime! Seems like the bio could've been easily modified to tie this figure into Optimus Prime for kids that don't follow the comics.

yeah you would think for a kid who has no idea who Orion Pax is, the bio mentioning he becomes Optimus Prime would make him more marketable.

The art work on all of these is from Clayton Crain. I love his work for super hero type books with masks and armor and all that, but his faces have always been a bit funky. For my money though he still has some of the best ghost rider covers I have ever seen.

He was the same artist for series 3 and 4 of the newer hasbro marvel legends packages, so you can see some other examples of his work there.

Hey gang,

I'm looking to sell some Botcon figures, and I was wondering if any of you knew of a store, such as Quake I suppose, that would potentially buy them in the event Carbombya and/or eBay fail me. I'm trying to get some extra cash to help with a move, so without sounding too dire, not selling these is not much of an option.

Also, if anyone's interested in an 06 boxset, or the Laserbeak and Buzzsaw from the same year, or the 07 Seekers, or an 08 Megatron and Rodimus or Blur, PM me.
I know this is not the place for deal making, but I just thought I'd let my Illinois bros know first. I'm in Chicago, so shipping would be cheap or we could meet up. I am going to put up a Carbombya thread for these, but I guess I'm just trying to start somewhere.

North riverside toys r us had 1 grim wing. Other than that it looks like they just restocked the FOC deluxe figures. Broad view target had a sand storm and Springer. I grabbed the sand storm for myself. Nothing exciting besides that

I buy Transformers collections to resell on Seibertron.com's store. I offer wholesale prices on the collections I buy. If you are looking for top dollar, I would recommend you sell your collection piece by piece on eBay. If you are looking for quick cash, please respond to the private message I'm composing right now. I live in the Chicago Northwest suburbs so meeting up wouldn't be a problem.

Des Plaines Kmart did their reset finally. A full case of the Generations IDW Deluxe class is out on their shelves as of 12:30pm today. Various Construct-a-bots as well. Beast Hunters Voyager Class Shockwave is there too in case any of you need him still and so is the Ultimate Optimus Prime figure that has been showing up at Targets and Toys R Us stores.

Wow, Walmart on Butterfield and 53 is a disaster, they're remodelling. Not much TF-wise, a few of the FOC Wreckers, one or two each of Voy Springer, Blitzwing, and Sandstorm.

They're a few days behind! This was reported here last Friday ;)

http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/kreo-micro-changers-wave-3-at-retail/28122/

I looked for them at the Rosemont Target a couple of hours ago but didn't have any luck. The hunt continues!
