If you have been following our SDCC 2012 Hasbro Panel Coverage you would know that site sponsor BigBadToyStore has their biggest Transformers exclusives yet - a line of six Transformers Prime toys under the moniker of 'Dark Energon'. RID Voyager Megatron, Voyager Optimus Prime, Deluxes Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Knock Out and First Editon Starscream are all featured in translucent plastic with varying decos. Pre-orders will open shortly with pricing, and this news post will be updated with our own images shortly too. For now, check out the mock up image and the main Dark Energon page at BBTS.

I quite like Slicer. Not sure about the rest. Don't think I'll bother with ridicushipping charges to get them.

Bumblebee is Goldbug
Starscream is Skywarp
Megatron is Galvatron/Shadow Strike Megatron
Optimus is styled like that Deluxe DoTM Walmart exclusive Optimus (I forget the name)

Who is Knockout supposed to be?

And these all feature boatloads of transparent plastic, yes?

Translucent Skywarp is a must. Hopefully they're a bit over priced so I'm not tempted to get them all.

I think Skywarp is the only need to get. Prime Looks Lame as hell. Maybe Megs, he ain't bad.

Count me in for a Knockout and Wheeljack. Very cool deco. Not fussed about the rest.

I will be buying all of these for sure. Even with th blurry pictures I can tell these are going to be sweet. Excellent choice on BBTS's part. These are going to sell like crazy. Hell they might even be able to get Hasbro to do another set later, so we all can have a Dark Energon wave 2, with other characters.

The choices of colors and translucent plastics is just the bomb.

Don't be turnin water into wine here... Slicer and Skywarp might sell well but the rest look like they might end up like the Seacons

They're nice, but they're not essential...except maybe Knock Out?

Would you consider them to be like a 'Shattered Glass' Prime line?

if you think they'd be cool as a SG Prime line, and fancy getting them because of it, go for it. sounds like a good idea.

So what's going on with the red and green Knockouts? which ones gonna be the exclusive?
I hope it's the green one i'll take it he's a Crumplezone homage if not he will be and Slicer is looking pretty good too plus that Megatron is the only version of that figure i like .

I'm pretty sure they're all exclusives and that the green one is the one we're getting. The red one was just a preview/mockup that isn't going into production as I understand it.
