Seibertron.com member Venksta has updated the Renderform site and Facebook page with a preorder for a limited edition run of RF-002X Mach Red, a recolor of the excellent RF-002 Emperyean Espionage kit for Universe Skyfall.

The kit contains a number of alternate colored visors, a red head, two red rifles, and a translucent green rifle.







The kit is going to essentially made to order, with a maximum of 75 units. You can preorder the kit directly at Renderform's Order page. Pricing and release date are subject to demand.

Also, I love it. Very Robot-Masters with the Transparent Green Weapon.

That's quite nice, I'm tempted to get it, and I have the original set.

I have the orginal (multiple) and already put a black head on my Skyfall, but man I want to order this twice too for that damn green gun!!!

As nice as this is for anyone wanting him to look more like a Cyberjet, and sorry if this is a little off-topic, but am I the only one who first saw this Silverbolt repaint in robot mode and thought it was supposed to be the Predacon eagle Divebomb in an Earth or possibly Cybertronian vehicle mode? Seriously, I never would have thought of Skyjack until told that's what Skyfall was supposed to convey. As such, even the original color of this upgrade just isn't for me.

I am looking forward to their Darkwing head upgrade for the TRU version though.

It's a very cool upgrade for a very cool mold but I still have issues with the name the chose to go with for the figure. I had Action Master Skyfall (and his Rhino/weapon Top-heavy) as a kid and it was my absolute of all the Action Masters. Seeing that name associated with this figure in this color scheme just isn't helping all the connections in my brain fire properly. Like I said though, if I had this particular figure I would be all over this Kit. I commend them for making a kit that allows for some variety. That's not something we see very often, if ever with a lot of these 3rd party manufacturers.

This set looks really good. I think the Red color on this head actually works better with the figure than the original black one. It helps break the figure up.

The figure is actually Skyjack, the G2 Cyberjet. It seems like Hasbro could not secure the name, so they went with Skyfall, as it was close to the original. But that hasn't stopped anyone to call him by his rightful name.

Not that I don't like this version of the head, but is there a possibility that the original balck head is going to be reissued? I have to get my hands on that one.
