That picture at the end looks a lot like a toy that was going to be made for OTFCC2005. Could we finally get that amazing retooling? the proposed rubber ducky too, oh please Fun Publications.

It's about time they got around to using that idea. Been waiting for this one for a looooong time. Hopefully I can find one for a good price after Botcon, as I still can't attend.

Assuming the headsculpt isn't total arse, this is one con exclusive I NEED to track down. I love my RID2001 Megatron but he's absolutely shagged.
But with that being said, I'm surprised they're using the Robots in Disguise Megatron mould and not something more recent. The Transformers Prime Voyager Predaking mould would have been my first choice, you could even use Fall of Cybertron Grimlock in Transmetal 1 colours, with that old Beast Wars Megatron head which never saw the light of day.
Nevertheless, this new Megatron could actually be the first BotCon exclusive figure I buy, even if it does cost more than a hundred quid second-hand!

See that RiD Megs was the first Transformer I remember getting this is exciting! I've wanted to get a complete version of him for a while but this will d o just as well, if not better. hopefully they don't remove the bat mouth like they had to do with Deathsaurus.

Where is your confusion? They show Beast Megatron's head on what is clearly RID Megatron's body at the end of that clip. If they DON'T actually do this much anticipated figure after that tease, there's going to be hell.

Absolutely delicious. If I had wads of cash lying around, I'll certainly take a helping of that Megatron!
...if it is based on Robots in Disguise (2001) Megatron or Fall of Cybertron Grimlock, that is.
On a side note, I'm liking how FunPub is looking back on legendary 3H concepts that never made it and are recreating them, like Alpha Trizer and Devcon from 2014.
