Night-time super-hero and day-time news crew member El Duque finishes tagging and sprucing up a story about a video review of United Frenzy and Rumble. He clicks the submit button, and tada, Seibertron.com has reached one of it's greatest milestones, 20,000 news posts!

It's amazing to think that back when Seibertron.com was born, we were just a very a small fish in a big sea. Fast forward over 10 years, and this site has been blessed with so much, that's it's nigh impossible to explain it in words. I wouldn't believe anyone who would have told me 10 years ago that our community would be hooked on video reviews of grown men fiddling with toys, that we'd be getting incarnations of Rumble and Frenzy left, right and center, that Transformers would be turned into a live-action trilogy, and that toy collectors around the world would be knee-deep in toy line after toy line of Transformers.

Despite the good times, the bad times, and everything in between, we wouldn't even be close to putting up 20,000 news posts if it weren't for you guys! To every single member of the forums, our wonderful sponsors, and the hard working people behind the Transformers scenes, we salute you. Seibertron.com would like to thank everyone on the news crew, past and present, who have helped to contribute to this phenomenal milestone. Over 94 different members over the past 10 years have helped contribute to this total! And of course, you guys should certainly thank the rest of my current colleagues on the news staff for keeping this site alive and breathing! We salute Down_Shift, Razorclaw0000, RodimusConvoy13, Nekoman, Diem, El Duque, Dead Metal, DevastaTTor, Mach, Lost_Cybertronian, TCracker, and tigertracks_24!

Of course, like Rose F. Kennedy said in the quote above, it's about celebrating the moments, not always the milestone itself! Can you recall what your favorite Seibertron.com news post was? Which story was the first one you read on the site?

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS! Seibertron.com is still the first TF site I visit every day, and often the very first site on the internet I open!

The one thing I still remember oh so well is the countdown clock Seibertron.com had until the opening date (July 3rd 2007) of the first Transformers live action movie... I remember that thing started counting down like about two years before the actual opening date!

I remember the first news story I saw on this site. It was a custom G1 Blaster that had been converted to an MP3 player by a German kitbasher. The story is long since lost due to the crashes the site has had over the years, but it was quite a thing to see at the time. Years before Music Label Soundwave was released, this definitely was the predecessor to him. It was also probably one of the first custom figures to receive a news story before the site started featuring Kitbashed figures.

After joining the site (since I had been lurking at the time), I visited daily to see what was in the news. I saw the unveiling of the (at the time) new movie to feature my favorite transforming robots, news of galleries of incredibly rare figures such as the Unicron of Light, Green Transmetal Ramhorn, the prototype G1 Unicron, and the various Botcon sets.

It wasn't always about the franchise though, I remember coming to the site sometimes and seeing breaking news from the real world, such as the recent tsunami and earthquake. Other pieces of news worth mentioning were when our own dear site owner, Ryan, tied the knot & got married!

So for all of this, every bit of news to grace the greatest TF site on the internet, congrats to Seibertron.com & our awesome news crew! Here's to many more years of TF news!

From the exclusive scoops, to the fine galleries, the fanfic, the $ saving sightings forums, and the second to none back and forth banter; this is what actually makes the hobby more than mere pieces of plastic. Let us never forget, it is the community/fandom/network that breathes life into our passion of these trinkets. If I remember correctly the first or at least the more memorable news story I saw when I first joined was about Cybertron OP back in 2005. Pics of his weird looking truck mode.

Wow, that's some pretty detailed data. How do you guys keep track of that stuff? Page views I can understand being tracked, but who tallies up this?

I don't even know what the first news story I read was, but I've been here since the heyday of Energon, Reissues and Alternators. It's been awhle! Seibertron has been and always will be the first website I check every single day.
