I kind of see it, but Ruckus was more of a Buggy than a truck

Seeing this year is kind of like a new scramble-city type thing, maybe a titan Trypticon that interacts with the combiners?

Yeah, Hasbro didn't really answer those questions, and the one they actually did was a vague answer about the continuation of Titan-class figures.

I hoped someone at least mentioned Masterpiece Star Saber... I'd like to own him when he's released, but without paying import prices.

Hasbro continues to embarrass 3rd Parties. A better Brainstorm at a quarter of the price. A better Springer at a fifth of the price. And now a comparable-looking pair of combiners at a fifth of the price.

Yeah I can't see a domestic release for star saber, unless enough fans were vocal for it. I'm looking at importing anyway as it's really unlikely the UK would ever see a release.

With more to come hopefully and scramble-city style at that :D

The headsculpts are also kinda similar, right down to the same "ears".

If Prowl is any indication, you should pay import prices ;)

You know what would be awesome? Power Core Combiner repaints of all these guys. Maybe Offroad and Slingshot are reflections of that. Or maybe Hasbro thought it was overly redundant to have two combiners where one had four cars for limbs and the other four jets when no other G1 combiners had multiples of the same alt mode within their teams. Although as someone pointed out already, Breakdown should have been the SUV.

Shame they didn't make one of the Aerialbots a space shuttle instead of a helicopter. If they do plan on Defensor and Bruticus, they'll have three helicopters possibly all the same mold then.

Silverbolt would make a great Skyburst/Darkstream/Jet master aka Tread Bolt by the way.

Just throwing some thought out there.

these new combiners are PAINFULLY close to what i want... like, im almost in physical pain...

the stunticons are a good effort, but falls short of FP's. this is pretty much the alternative to those who dont want to pay 3rd party prices. he's stocky and kinda odd looking. but hey, elbow and knee joints, actual hands, and no clear energon'y looking bits to complain about.

superion is the one who causes me pain. he would have been PERFECT if it werent for alpha bravo/slingshot whatever. and i can honestly see from a sales perspective why they wouldnt want five planes for fear of repetitivety.... but arg! so close! this might also explain mister SUV in the stunitcon lineup instead of wildrider.

What's wrong with the domestic prowl release? I thought there were no major changes between them reported so far. Has something come up?

Nope.

You're right. RID Vehicon knew how to efficiently fold up his car kibble. I don't know WHAT'S going on there, or why designers still think that's okay to do.

As always, we can hope for it just being mistransformations.

SDCC 2014 Coverage: Kre-O Transforming Kreons

Site owner Seibertron was on the scene of the post-Hasbro Panel showroom display, and we here at Seibertron.com bring to you our first look at new Kre-O Kreons Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream! These Kreons are similar to the Microchange Kreons of before: same idea, but different execution. How different? The robot and vehicle modes are much larger, and, unlike Kre-O sets from before, these require no partsforming at all! Take a look at the four images below, courtesy of Seibertron himself!

UPDATE

Also, according to the Big Man himself, eveybody's favorite Dinobot Grimlock will also be joining Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream in the first wave, and a Triplechanger character (who, we do not know at this time) is planned for release during Fall 2014. No images at this time. Sorry, Kreon fans!

Hasbro's MP Prowl costs more than Takara's MP Prowl, even when import prices are factored into the cost.

It's blocked from my U.S. end too.

It looks like it just got taken down.

We need a Titan Class Trypticon! Not a War for Cybertron battleship that transforms into half of a dinosaur.

SDCC 2014 Coverage: Official Images of Generations: Combiner Wars Aerialbots and Stunticons

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for... official images for the newly-revealed Generations: Combiner Wars Aerialbots and Stunticons! The Aerialbots, comprised of traditional team members Silverbolt, Air Raid, Skydive, and Firefly (originally Fireflight. Darn those trademark laws!) are joined by Alpha Bravo (a very Vortex-like character replacing Slingshot) and honorary Aerialbot Powerglide (revealed at BotCon last month), who is revealed to also transform into a weapon capable of being wielded by the Aerialbots' combined mode, Superion!

Meanwhile, their Decepticon counterparts, the Stunticons, are comprised of Motormaster (a redeco and heavy retool of the previously-revealed Voyager Optimus Prime), Breakdown, Dead End, Dragstrip, and newcomer Offroad, an apparent duo-homage of Generation One Ruckus and Wildrider, whose vehicle mode deco Offroad's vehice mode is based on. Also included in Team Stunticon is an as-of-yet-named Legends-class sports car, rumored to be Blackjack, based and named after the Generation One character of the same name, who forms the chestplate of the Stunticons' combined mode, Menasor!

The new series looks good. I wonder if it will be a darker storyline than TF Prime.

If you want to know what I mean by darker watch the show Young Justice. Its for kids. ;)
