Okay, Pulse, we need to talk about these short preorder windows... Eight days? Seriously?

They completely dropped the ball on these 2. I believe the first 2 pairs of seacons each gave about a month, so these likely were supposed to go up pretty soon after they were announced by Takara, but Hasbro was likely distracted by Unicron and NYCC and forgot to put them up.

My guess too, they failed to get the pre-orders up and only just realized it

I’ve been checking Hasbro Pulse daily for the last two or three weeks now, nervous I’d miss those final two figures of the set. Gotta’ love pointless anxiety! I’m really looking forward to this set, especially after adding a comolete set of G1 Seacons to my collection last Christmas. Cheers!

Got my preorders in for the last of the PCon figures. Should be a great set once it all gets completed.

A reasonable theory, but that doesn't make it better.

And I don't think a one-month window of availability is exactly great either.

And after 20 months, Orthia is complete! And I have to say, I think Lancer is actually my favorite of the limb gals

I can't wait to complete mine. Although that means I need to hurry up with the stop motion story I'm working on. Orthia was attacked by Optimus Primal and lost her arm during the War but in reality Lancer and Primal were tired of Orthia's nagging and wanted to go to a rave hosted by Soundwave. Pulse deliveries are showing up Friday and Monday so maybe I'll get it done over the weekend...

I love how Orthia looks with the feet flipped around like that! I've been putting the black toes forward and using the Prime Armor pieces for heel support instead of the toes. Using them as the toes almost makes the entire leg and foot look like it's one integrated piece. That's a much cleaner look for a combiner. :)

None of my PotP-footed combiners use the actual feet as the toes, I use all of the prime armor pieces for the toes. It actually makes the feet look larger! That's the one thing I really didn't like about PotP: the feet are too small and very unstable.

I do that for all my PotPie combiners. Not only for looks either, I find it helps a little bit with stability against that forward lean whenever you extend the arms outward.

Generations Selects WFC Smokescreen Available on Toysrus.ca

While WFC Smokescreen is as available as May Mayhem toys of the past in the US, he was sold out rather fast from any retailer who had preorders online in Canada. EBGames only ordered enough to cover preorders, for instance. So I am happy to report that Canadians who didn't get him yet can get him through Toysrus.ca which is becoming the main place to get Transformers Generations Selects toys in the country. He is available right here for $29.99 CAD.

If ever you do find interesting toy sightings that you think are new, you can reach us by clicking here.

And remember that you can share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

I am patiently waiting for Lancer to come back in stock on Pulse. I know as soon as I order it from somewhere else it will be back in stock. Just playing the refresh game.

Official product images of Generations Selects King Poseidon aka Piranacon Combined

With the final two members of the Transformers Generations Selects Seacon team unveiled recently, it was only a matter of time before we finally saw what the full combiner looked like in its dinal deco. Check out the new images of Piranacon, or King Poseidon as he is known in Japan, below that were posted earlier today on the Transformers Overdrive Facebook page, which we mirrored below for your viewing convenience. You can view images of the other four Seacons who combine with Overbite and Tentakil to form the Decepticon Combiner PIRANACON (aka KING POSEIDON) which were previously revealed here: Snaptrap (Turtler), Skalor (Gulf), Seawing (Kraken), and Nautilator (Lobclaw).

If they redeco him as God Neptune, I would buy it in an instance.

It could work as God Neptune, the pirates from Beast Wars 2, however they might have one big problem: Nautilator was missing from the group. Only big concern.

I just noticed that Snaptrap's combined mode legs for his torso mode look to be the same as Combiner Wars Silverbolt, just remolded a bit.

There are five limbs as it is now, with the one that doesn't get to be an arm or a leg used as a large weapon in combined mode. Reducing the group to four limbs and a torso would make it just like any other Scramble City combiner style team. I don't see the issue, honestly.

That's because Snaptrap is a retool of PotP Hun-Gurrr, who is himself either a heavy retool of CW Silverbolt OR a case of shared engineering.

I am still kind of unclear about this set. Is it just a Japanese exclusive, Hasbro Pulse exclusive?

It is a Takara exclusive, similar to how the Legends LG-EX ones were, except Hasbro Pulse is now an official outlet for them. This means Takara developed it on their own and get to set the pricing. Hasbro Pulse is really just being an outlet in the US for them. Also, the "set" from a purchasing standpoint is 6 individual releases which will come out in pairs with each pair about a month apart.

If you haven't jumped on them already, it is already too late to order the first 4 bots from Hasbro Pulse, and you will need to go with TFSource or another online retailer at a slightly higher price.
