I really hoping for a set of Siege Soundwave compatible Frumbles as well. I find the Micromaster size perfect for the Cassettebots ;)^

Someone has already asked, but has there been any mention of Laserbeak and Ravage combining into a larger shield or something. Honestly I hope they don't so all of the engineering can go into the transformation.

No, their gimmick is storing in Soundwave's chest first and foremost.
Nice, this line really does have the best gimmicks!

Pretty sure they're supposed to be bucklers/small shields and peg onto forearm :-?

Looks like the shoulder to me :-D

He does have a lamppost mode according to the diorama in NYCC, so maybe Laserbeak and Ravage can act as solar panels?

That's a really good idea actually. I'm just hoping the pegs fold away.

They probably do, given the space inside his chest.
Overcracker, given the use of 5mm pegs and the ports in his forearms it could be either.

Next on the list is from YouTuber doublej101, which is where we got our Ultra Magnus review from. We got this thanks to a notification from Seibertronian Grimyeal.

And finally, one final one from Peaugh, YouTube legend. He shows discontent with the size, one we're sure many can agree with.

No luck for me yet here in the Twin Cities. I checked two Targets on the way home tonight, but didn't see any sign of the Siege Leader Class figures. Nor did I see any Deluxe or Voyager figures for that matter. All they have in stock are Battlemasters and Micromasters.

Shockwave still looks awesome. About the people saying he isn't worth 50$, hear me out. Siege Shockwave's alt mode would look pretty boring to younger fans, upside down gun and all. The extra bits make for a much more pleasing spaceship. In robot mode, the extra pieces also make the robot mode more interesting, and arguably cooler. I don't want to start a heated debate, but I would love to hear your opinions on the matter. IMO, Shockwave is worth it.

Wolfman,
I have found Shockwave, Megatron, ultramagnus and Optimus prime all at the Target in Bloomington off of highway 494and Penn Ave. Sideswipe, I saw at the Target in St. Louis Park off highway 7

He's between a deluxe & voyager. Way too small for leader prices. I'm hoping Black Mamba or Wei Jiang will make an oversized version.

I'll double check the other reviews, but for those that say he's "too small" isn't he *in* scale with where he should be size wise? I mean yes, should it *maybe* have been a voyager price *maybe* But I wouldn't yell at the toy for being small when I think he's about where he should be.

I also agree with those that say the extra armor pieces definitely help fill out alt mode. And I totally would expect Shockwave to McGuiver his sled into power armor if he *somehow* got in over his head in a fire fight.

I'd also like to see someone fiddle with hose armor parts on *another* figure (probably voyager versus deluxe size)

The court battle against KOs have been won by Hasbro. So unless it's already being made and shipped out of China, this scenario is very unlikely.

Transformers: SIEGE Deluxe Lancer Teased by Hasbro?

We have some exciting news, Transformers fans! Just a few weeks after the official reveal of Transformers: SIEGE Deluxe Greenlight, complete with Combiner Wars/Power of the Primes style combiner compatibility, we have confirmation that Hasbro will indeed complete the female Autobot combiner, formerly (and informally) known as "Elita Infin1te." Seibertron.com member Survivefan23 has tipped us off to some classified files from none other than Teletraan 1! Want in? First, go to Hasbro's official Transformers website HERE and click on "Decode Message." Next, choose "Enter Access Code." When prompted, type in "LANCER." You'll be taken to a Data File on...Greenlight!? That's NOT the part of this reveal that's particularly interesting, though. We know Greenlight is coming and that she will be a modern combiner limb. What's more interesting is the unlocked "Item 2" below, pictured below. It depicts a fully combined female Autobot combiner, with Elita-1 as the torso and Moonracer, Novastar, and Greenlight as limbs, along with a fourth limb that remains "Classified." Its silhouette is still consistent with the rest of the female Autobot team so far, though, so it likely shares a basic mold with the other Deluxe female Autobot figures released so far. Since the code word to find this information was "Lancer," it's not too much of a stretch to guess that is the identity of this classified fourth limb. We already know it won't be Chromia, as she is being released in Deluxe Wave 2 of SIEGE without combiner compatibility. Take a look at the schematic below for "Orthia." Yes, it seems the Elita-1 combiner is not named "Elita Infin1te" afterall, or maybe that name only applies when anyone but her designated team is used in combination with her, akin to how Scattershot can either form "Computron" with the rest of the Technobots or "Betatron" when combined with any other figures. Take a look at the schematics below, which also show the official configuration of the limbs for combiner Orthia.

Image

As a bonus, Survivefan has provided us with the access codes for several other Transformers: SIEGE figures on the Teletraan 1 site. Each provides you with a short date file on each character, just as with Greenlight.

Cog: FORTRESSMAXIMUS
Hound: MACCADAMS
Megatron: KAON
Optimus Prime: IACON
Shockwave: TARN
Sideswipe: SUNSTREAKER
Skytread: DUOCON
Ultra Magnus: FORGEOFSOLUS

What do you think of the prospect of having a finished, official roster for the Elita-1 combiner started in Power of the Primes last year? Do you think the "Classified" fourth limb member is none other than Lancer from the original G1 cartoon episode "The Search for Alpha Trion?" Share your theories with your fellow fans in the comments below and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Well, this is fun and exciting news!
I wonder if she'll come packed with a Battle Master like Greenlight will?

I like how the codes are throw backs in some cases like Magnus's being the Forge of Solus. As for Orthia, where does that name come from? Is there any G1 link with that name?

From TFW2005:
Some bonus trivia. The new name for the combination, Orthia (replacing the earlier Elita Infinite), is thought to derive from a Greek goddess Orthia / Artemis Orthia. Artemis is closely associated with the hunt, and the Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia was located in Sparta and represented the coming together of the four villages that made up the citystate. Sparta was a citystate known for its warriors, with its best known pop culture Spartans including Kratos of the God of War series and Leonidas from 300. The fact the name references a sanctuary associated with four villages coming together to form a state known for its warriors is a great way to reference four robots coming together to make a super robot combiner. Thanks to Purple Heart on the TFW2005 boards for sleuthing that one.

That is a really cool reference and very appropriate given the theme of the combiner!

Nerd time! :-B
Orthia is another name for the Greek Goddess, Artemis, or the Roman named Diana. She was the Goddess of the hunt, often seen with a bow and her hunting dogs. So no G1 reference that I can see, but a cool and fitting name none the less.

I know who will be getting to use the Cog Bow!

Edit: Awesomely ninja'd by Lorekeeper!
that bit about unification is super cool! ;)^

I wonder if we can find a fan transformation for SIEGE Chromia to turn her into a weapon for Orthia, kind of like how Piranacon could wield an extra sixth member of the Seacons as a Targetmaster? It would be nice to get the whole female Autobot team together in Orthia and not leave Chromia the odd one out.

At least Elita will have the entire team. I wonder why they chose Lancer to be the limb over Chromia. Is it because Chromia is better known? Why didn't they just make both of them limbs, so they can be interchangeable?

She'd make a pretty good buckler in alt-mode. So just an upscaled Micromaster then.

Well this is interesting and cool news. I wonder if they will re-release Elita in the Siege line as she getting kinda hard to find at a decent price now?

Edit: found her at two places for a decent price, still curious if we'll see a re-release with Hasbro making a deal out of this.

I’m personally okay with his size for the price. It’s like a Studio Series Blackout situation. An arguably Voyager size robot at a leader price. I don’t mind Leaders being short, as long as they look good

Considering her alt mode is basically a stick with wheels, I could totally see this. If you attach her accessories a certain way, she could probably serve as some kind of big gun. Time will tell, I suppose. :D

I’m totally spit balling. But in IDW didn’t Chromia and Ironhide have a thing? I know her and Windblade were like on&Johnson for a while. So I think they wanted her in Siege, and as we found out they had plenty of ammo for the other limbs.

That said.... I want a Walgreens exclusive repaint for Combiner Chromia lol
