My coneheads took a week to ship form them. And now this wave is found in the US.

Yeah, kinda figures that would happen right after I order them from Canada.

I had recommended you cancel, if it's found at some random retailer then we know the north American stock is in. You could still write to them to cancel since it hasn't moved yet.

Not sure at all if this deluxe case is synced with the rest of the Wave.

ok, that makes sense. I'm not saying the listing isn't legit. I know it is valid, There have been some smaller sites that get stuff first. I was just thinking more of the larger more mainstream sites that charge regular MSRP don't even have pre-orders yet.

I guess this is the point about "reveals", it's not so much that Hasbro hasn't officially revealed something yet, it is more about having the ability to pre-order it in any conventional means, still doesn't exist yet.

Waspinator hasn't showed up at any of the regular retailers yet except Amazon, and that pre-order apparently sold out months ago.
Tigatron is essentially in the same situation but I did manage to pre-order him on Amazon.

Outside of that, I think I am done with Kingdom figures. And ready to start seeing Legacy start popping up.

I think those wave 4 Amazon pre-order listings are fanmade placeholders more than anything else. I mean I'm still holding on to Slammer until a conventional listing on Amazon or Pulse appears, but I don't think they are guaranteed. They can't even be found using the normal search feature on Amazon.

They are legit Amazon Listings, just intended to be hidden from regular view. They are basically placeholders. Once they get officially revealed by Hasbro, assuming Hasbro actually reveals them before they ship, the Listing gets updated with all the product info and should become visible under normal search means.

Honestly, there's no rhyme and reason to it anymore. Like yes, ever since the pandemic got a good foothold, Hasbro has tied reveals with preorders and maybe they are not revealing later waves because they are unsure about guaranteeing a date with the supply chain being tangled. BUT on the other hand, they did set up preorders for some SS86 toys that aren't even manufactured yet (while we know these are). So that makes no sense. They must be sure as hell that production will be possible on all they set forth to allow such preorders.

To me, the most baffling moment of this year is when there was the wave of Studio Series toys that only half got revealed, so you could preorder the entire wave, but half the wave was TBD. At that point I really felt Hasbro had just lost it. And whatever they lost, they haven't found it.

Anyways, I guess we are all just back to where we were years ago, seeing new toys at retail and buying them.

My local area didn't get wave 1. Just wave 2. That's all there's ever been. So much Huffer.

Anyways, I don't care about this wave of deluxes, not interested in either of those 2 beaats.

Not to turn the knife into the wound, but I do hope that decree was worth the money.
(I'm so glad that I'm in Canada because my college mistake only cost me 8000$CAN in the end.)

How much are kingdom deluxes at Walmart these days?

It is odd. The Walmart Website says they are $22.99 MSRP, but on the actual pegs in the stores (in my area at least), they are just under $20 USD (19.87 or some odd price). I noticed while going on vacation, depending on location they can vary +/- a dollar depending on the region. SS Deluxe usually run about a dollar less for some reason.

Walmart (like amazon) allows 3rd party sellers. Just at a cursory glance online, I currently see:

Airrazor $19.91
Ractonite $15.40
Huffer $18.62
Tracks $35.99 (obviously NOT Walmart)
Black Arachnia $19.72
Scorponok $35.99
Arcee $32.85 (??? )
Paleotrex $19.87
Wingfinger $35.99
Kindom Deluxe $19.72 (ooh goody a random listing, you pay this and have no idea which one you are getting...)
Warpath $22.99

So this basically tells me, Wave 1 is more or less standard Price, Wave 2 is on sale, and wave 3 hasn't arrived yet.

BBTS was great in years past, prior to Brand Unification for getting TT Product. Now it's best use is for anyone wanting toys from 1-3 years back that are no longer on the shelves, and availability is limited. This is just in relation to Transformers however. I know they stock hundreds of different brands, as do most online retailers, and there are probably some where BBTS may be the best and/or ONLY option.

Now wave 4 is starting to pop up at retail, I can see a repeat of what happened with Studio Series Grindor, Thrust, Jolt and ROTF Bumblebee: an awkwardly rushed, no effort reveal post on the official Facebook page, pre-orders only on Hasbro Pulse US (Grindor, Thrust and Jolt are still unavailable on Hasbro Pulse UK), and then they'll just try to move past it. I can't see anything Kingdom related being formally revealed at any upcoming events like PulseCon or Milano Licensing Day, I think the focus will now be exclusively on Victory Saber until A) it's fully funded, or B) the first wave of Legacy is ready to be revealed.

I wouldn't count on any reveal worthwhile form the licensing conventions, since they are business to business. I think the only official reveal we ever got from them was the oversized RID supermode Optimus (the one that you could stick the minicons on). Dont remember anything since.

Video review of Transformers Kingdom Puffer and Road Ranger

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Razorbeast88, has let us know that YouTube Toy Reviewer, Chefatron, has uploaded two new video reviews! The two reviews in question are of Puffer and Road Ranger, a rumoured two pack that was first teased via an Australian Amazon listing. We've already had a look at Puffer, but this is the first time we've seen Road Ranger.

Both of these toys are redco/retools of Transformers Kingdom Huffer (who has a retool in Pipes, who is set to appear still Kingdom). They're also supposedly part of the Golden Disc Kingdom subline, which is where Terrorsaur will join his fellow Predacons.

Puffer

Road Ranger

What do you think of these toys? Do you own the base molds?

Shout out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg has a video review of the set that is being shipped from Amazon to all those who ordered it in the US. It's the latest Transformers Kingdom Battle Across Time set featuring Sideswipe And Skywarp from beast Wars II.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:If I'm being honest this set feels a little flat to me. While I appreciate the work that went into retooling Sideswipe for a more G1 look, I feel the steps didn't go far enough. Skywarp just feels off but I'm impressed by the head sculpt. Hopefully down the line, we'll see a proper Generations style Magnaboss set. If you like what you see then pick up the set, but for most this might be an easy pass.

Saw these yesterday. It is interesting that they didn't include the cab swivel/pivot for Road Ranger, so he could be an exact copy of Huffer.

Could you explain that? Road Ranger is the alt-head retool of Huffer and has the cab facing up, while Puffer is made from the Pipes version of the tooling and has the cab facing back.

There's something I'd normally say here, but I'm in a good mood. :saint:

On the figures themselves, however, not for me. Though I'm sure the people who bought Huffer to take 1 picture of him with Optimus' trailer would get 3 more of him. Accessory bins don't fill themselves, do they? :BANG_HEAD:

Sure. The only difference in the Transformation of Kindgom Pipes vs Kingdom Huffer is that they added a swivel on the back of the Cab, so, as you say the cab can face backward. I just thought since Road Ranger was likely produced later, I'm not sure why they just didn't keep the swivel (although unnecessary, since he is as you say a Huffer Repaint (except for the head)), instead of switching back, and eliminating it just t be exactly like Huffer.

It's possible that swivel is gang-molded with the Pipes parts, thus for Pipes only. Hey, one less point of breakage.
