Dclone Soundwave wrote:This looks awful. Hun-Gurr's body should be Voyager sized. If it was, then the arms wouldn't look ridiculous. I know nobody enjoys storing the extra parts, but this is a figure that could have benefitted well from detachable fists and feet, as well as a combiner helmet to go over Hun-Gurr's head. Speaking of which, looks to close to Knock Out's head.

Go try to make a combiner out of Soundwave and 4 of his cassettes. That's equivalent in scale to what you just said. ;)
I think you meant commander, because these guys are legions, AKA the tiny guys.

D'oh. I did mean commander. Although it would be neat to see a voyager Hun-Gurr with appropriately sized Terrorcon arms and legs.

OMG! I love it! Can't find a Hun-Grr anywhere though. Help a brother out if anybody sees a small cache of them. PM me.
THis is the best poopy combiner to date.

Okay I get why people want combiners to have stable feet, it's a must have, but why do they insist on them having "hands" ?

I assume many people want normal hands because they want normal, humanoid robots.

... which I find incredibly dull.

I know the old G1 combiners were far from perfect, but they certainly had a look to them with enough that imagination was able to push it the rest of the way.

This is just a guy who had 4 of his kids attack him, two hugging his legs and two dangling from his arms.

Transformers Prime is a great show. I sincerely hope these guys, or rather, this combiner, don't end up in it before the last episode. Well, it could be cool and or funny if it was a big, flailing experiment by Shockwave that went horribly wrong, arms flying all over the place knocking stuff over while it shuffles like it has pants down around its ankles.

True, true. If there's one thing that I've learned about this fandom (and which perplexes me ENTIRELY), it's that people will rampantly hate on things, then buy it, then will often have an ENTIRELY different opinion. The implication being of course, that they didn't really hate the design to begin with. ;)

Are the limbs interchangable? This may have been discussed already, but I'm too lazy too look it up.

We don't know.

Peaugh found a way to use Twinstrike as both an arm and a leg. He built a combined robot using four Twinstrikes and one Hun-Gurrr.

Hopefully, the remaining three limbs will be interchangable. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks, I'm curious to see what the possibilities are with this set.

I'm kinda psyched for it.

As a follow up to yesterday's Transformers Prime Cyberverse Abominus combined news we have a few additional images of the individual Terrorcons. The first set comes to us from ACToys, and shows the team off individually in both modes plus another combined image with Cyberverse Commander Predaking. The second set, which comes to us from the Hobbybase facebook page, features the the newly released members, Blight, Windrazor, and Rippersnapper individually and in-package. Images mirrored below.

Those are usually just the sugar-rush posters still caught in the "collect'em all" phase of collecting.
The rest of us try to stay away from posting on fan messageboards as much as possible, keeping our wallets even tighter closed.

But this thing is so... ugh. I really do get that post-G1 movie feeling seeing this. It's like it's the late 80s again, and I'm in Woolworths looking at Monstercons that they just can't sell because they look ridiculous.

What "looks cool" on this combiner?
That's the question that only "claws instead of hands?" seems to be able to say so far.

So as a combiner... what looks cool about it?

This is a great little group. Excited to get them all. Even without their combined form they're all pretty cool, and with it just makes it more exciting.

So do we know for sure the Target gift set will be a different color scheme, or are we just assuming? If that was already cleared up, I missed it.

I agree that this thing is a mess, even by the standards of gestalts with claw hands, but the Terrorcons hold a special place in my heart as the last G1 combiner team I found at retail, in 1990 no less, and I love smallish combiners, so I'll just buy any damn repaint of this whole team. Monstructor, Dinoking, Monstrous, whatever makes even the least little sense.

Don't get me wrong.
I don't hate this, I just wish it had a larger figure for the central bot.

As a matter of fact, I'll probably be buying 2 as my kid will dig this A LOT.
