Well, after MP 40 and 41 we have all the redecos which wont use up a new number, like Prowl and Shadow Panther. So we do have the next 3 releases revealed already

Why replace them? Fewer options mean better chances for the rest. If they did replace them I would guess they could do Transmetal Optimus Primal (wouldn't be much different from the original, just bigger and with articulated hands).

MP Munky on a surfboard? It could work. Although now the Beast Wars MP line is up and running, they probably won't be part of such polls in future. Who knows, may Animated might get an entry? That would be a weird series to MP.

I like the look of the beast wars figures, but wasn't interested enough to add them to my MP collection, if they did an animated prime, for the quirkiness alone that would be a must have for me.

and I would not mind Animated MPs. We got movie, we got G1, we got Beast Wars. Those 3 may be enough for now, considering the amount of characters they all need to go through, but an MP Animated Prime would be so wonky and fun.

Honestly, if there ever were to be any Animated MPs, the one I feel would be the most deserving of the MP treatment would indeed be Animated Optimus, since I don't feel that his Voyager toy really does his cartoon model justice the way that most of the other characters all match their cartoon models well enough.

I also really don't like the Automorph gimmick that the Voyager toy uses, since it ends up giving Optimus a very loose waist.

I thought the MP line was just for G1 though, which would end with Beast Machines?

Obviously the films jump the queue so to speak, but I assumed the point of the MP collection was the definite modern interpretation of the classic characters. I mean MP Unicron Trilogy, MP Car Robots, MP Animated? I just don't see it happening.

Of those ones you've listed, Car Robots is one that could theoretically happen since that series is part of the Beast Era in Japan.

Look at the poll, they had unicron trilogy stuff there too, so the MP line can really be anything. And G1 itself is such a broad term. I mean, how is Roadrage G1 when she first came to be in 2002? Plus, some out there believe Unicron Trilogy to be part of G1 and Car Robots (what we call RID 2001) is G1 in Japan. And Animated has G1 characters, so the more you think about it, its basically all G1.

Well, expect for the live action films, but then again they have MPs for those too. SO yeah, anything could be MP.

When you put it that way.. MP Gigatron! It would be hilarious if the Ten Former got an MP figure before either of the Six Changers.

Really all they need to do is take the old toy, blow it up to MP-10 size (or bigger), replace the grabbing mechanism with a waist/ab crunch, give it the usual MP treatments of better hands and a better neck, and MAYBE have the wings able to rotate the other way so they make more sense in dragon mode. I know that sounds like a lot, but considering what other MPs have to do to get a basic 2-mode Transformer to work, it's fairly little.

He is the only toy I bought from that line and he is still probably the most impressive TF toy, outside of the MP line, I've ever seen. A Ten Former that isn't a brick and has less kibble than figures half as technically made.

It's been seen and mentioned bigger, but thanks for making sure we.havent missed it. Could be cool, but probably won't switch out my mp10 for it.

Ahhh thanks. I had been searching but I didn't use the right key words it seems. Those changes look pretty good. More cartoon accurate. Now if they update the legs...

I thought it was interesting to hear from one of the unofficial designers that they had no intention of attempting the 07 movie designs because Takara Is full in on that film.

Personally, I think that’s a great thing. The 07 movie designs are the most influential and I’m really eager to see what’s coming on the heels of Barricade and Ironhide.

Most likely VW Bumblebee since we saw that oversized KO pic of one a while back. Seeing as how KO Barricade came out the same time as the real ones and knowing the TF6 line was pushed back it isn't a real stretch to believe that there's a finished VW Bee made by Hasbro/TT coming that that KO is based on.

According to a number on online sources, including regular and trustworthy retailers Loopaza Mega Store on Facebook, we have what seems to be potential news of a new release in the Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece toyline, in the form of a new redeco of the MP-39 mold (Sunstreaker).

The new figure, as listed for an August release, would be MP-42 Cordon / Countach, which many are speculating is the Diaclone version of the recent Sunstreaker figure, as the White Police version of the character, the Lamborghini Countach LP500S "Super Tuning". We have no confirmation a yet, but do join the speculation in the Energon Pub discussion boards!

Takaratomy Transformers

We have receive information regarding the Takaratomy Transformers Release Schedule on coming August.

Nothing really surprise on the Power of the Primes toyline as they will join the US release. The most interesting one will be the MP-42, the Japanese named: "Cordon" which is nothing named like this in past Transformers. Rumor do notice this is possible the Diaclone version of the White Color Police ver. Sun Streaker. In terms of the price range, that might be true
