Titans Return Overlord as Amazon Deal of the day for $34.83

PostPosted: Wed Dec 06, 2017 2:18 pm
by WreckerJack
Thanks to our very own, Cyrano we are now aware that Titans Return Overlord is Amazon's Deal of the Day. This figure costs $34.84 and comes with free shipping. This offer is only for today so be sure to place your order before tomorrow. Titans Return Overlord is a leader class figure with four modes which makes him pretty cool. He also comes with his own titan master, Dreadnaut. He has both robot and battle station modes but can split into a tank and jet at the same time. Which means this figure is a retool of Titans Return Sky Shadow, though these two figures are sculpted different to set them apart. From the unique colors, shoulder armor and head sculpt Overlord looks a lot like he does in the Titans Return mini series.

If you are a fan of Overlord, you definately should check out his design artwork.

Nope. I'm not a prime member and I can add him to cart with no issue. (Just be careful not to accidentally click on something that will force you to join Prime if you don't want to.)

FYI the free shipping is for orders over $35, before tax. Overlord just misses it, which I think was intentional.

Looks like they are doing "slow" free shipping on orders over $25, must be a holiday or select items thang.

amazon wrote:Order with Free Shipping by Amazon

All orders of $25 or more of eligible items across any product category qualify for FREE Shipping. Some items may have additional options for qualifying for FREE Shipping. These will be shown at checkout.

With free shipping, your order will be delivered 5-8 business days after all your items are available to ship, including pre-order items.

To place an order online, do the following:
Add at least $25 of eligible items to your Shopping Cart. Any item with "FREE Shipping" messaging on the product detail page that is fulfilled and shipped by Amazon is eligible and contributes to your free shipping order minimum.
Do one of the following:
To place the order using the shopping cart:
Proceed to checkout.
Ship your items to a single U.S. address in one of the 50 states.
Select Group my items into as few shipments as possible as your shipping preference.
Select FREE Shipping as your shipping speed.
To place an order using 1-Click®:
Click Review or edit your 1-Click orders on the 1-Click® confirmation page.
Click Change next to Shipping Speed.
Select FREE Shipping as your shipping speed.
For more information on how to qualify, go to About Free Shipping by Amazon. You can get unlimited FREE Two-Day Shipping on eligible items with Amazon Prime. No minimum spend is required to qualify.

But yeah I figured the same thing so I added it my cart just to test and yup, free.

I have Prime so it might be different for me. On the listing, it tells me I could have it by tomorrow.

They used to do free shipping at $25 way back, then it got bumped up to $35. Prime has free 2 day.

My wife has prime so when I need small things that qualify I get her to nab em for me.

Amazon has been all over the place for me lately. They keep offering me a month free prime trial, but I keep saying no because I don't want to waste it. Hopefully I can save that offer for an impulse lightning type deal that would take too long to get the Mrs involved in.

Anyway, if you click the details next to the price/shipping it will give you the deets. I figured it was a sneaky "if you get prime" offer so I took it all the way to shipping in checkout. Not a bad price. I got lucky and nabbed my from walmart a month ago at their standard $40 price.

Up to 35% off "Favorite Character Toys" on Amazon: Rescue Bots reduced, Fortress Maximus under $85

PostPosted: Wed Dec 06, 2017 4:56 pm
by Qwan
Thanks to a tip from fellow Seibertronian Emerje, we have word of yet another online sale as we enter the holiday season! Amazon is holding a deal on "Favorite Character Toys" at the moment, with up to 35% off selected items, including some Rescue Bots toys and the gargantuan blue 'bot himself, Titans Return Fortress Maximus.

The Rescue Bots are all reduced by about $4-5 and average about $10 each, while Fortress himself has been discounted from $149.99 all the way down to $84.70. This price also seems to qualify for free shipping within the United States, so for those still on the fence about grabbing the toy, now might be the time! As of this writing, the deal has just over 9 hours remaining, so you don't need to impulse-buy but it'd be worth making your mind up before it expires.

Check out all the toys that fall under this deal here, and let us know below if you'll be taking advantage of this deal! And if you still need some help deciding whether or not Titans Return Fortress Maximus is the city-bot for you, why not check out Seibertron's extensive gallery of the figure?

Year of the Monkey Optimus Primal, for a measly $29.99 at Ross! Once I figure out how to transfer photos from my phone to the computer, I'll post some evidence. In the mean time, keep your eyes peeled.

I would absolutely buy Primal at that price. ;)^

Money where my mouth is, he was just on an Amazon lightning deal for $26.23. Ordered one. :-D

Exactly. While I did manage to snag one Ramhorn and a Deluxe Class Hardhead yesterday, it was clearly before this free-shipping offer. Yesterday that same code was only allowed for Hasbro games and nothing more.
