Here's a pic of my Top 5 that I got a little while ago! (though DOTM Megatron's spot may be contested by Sentinel Prime or Grindor).

Lets see my 5 would be (in no order)
Car dropkick
Jet Shatter
2007 Megatron
Leader Grimlock
2007 Starscream

I do also like several others, even the ones that people dont talk about much like Shockwave, DOTM Soundwave, Heli Drift, and the cliffjumper/B127
I seem to not care about most of the earth cars, except for the ones mentionned.

GAH! Forgot about leader AoE Grimlock!
Sorry devastator, but you're downgraded to "Honorable mention" while AoE Leader Grimlock take the throne.

Oo boy (rubs hands) here we go:

Blackout

Jeep Bee

Leadfoot

Mixmaster

Starscream

Thats just off the top of my head, Scrapmetal, DoTM Ratchet and movie 1 Megatron are right there behind them though.

DOTM Ratchet is one that also just almost made my list, I really like that figure. Definitely falls within the top 3 deluxes for me.

I like that toy too, but the reason I don't think of him much is that he really feels like an incremental change from a mold I already know well. Plus that backpack is rough. I would have really liked that they try harder with him.

Also, dammit, forgot Leadfoot. He is definitely the best of the 3 wrecker toys in SS.

In no particular order:
-Stinger
-Bonecrusher
-KSI Boss (didn't buy any figures from the AoE & TLK lines, so this was a new mold for me)
-Mixmaster
-Scrapmetal

Honorable mentions go to Sideswipe, Blackout, & Scrapper.

I'm still kicking myself for not picking him up when I saw him at Target. I didn't care for the Wreckers as characters, and I wasn't interested in the other 2 figures, but for some reason Leadfoot looked really good in hand. I should have gotten him anyway. He and Hound would have made a good pair.

I agree that Leadfoot is the best of the Wreckers, though I do like Roadbuster too. Topspin is a little disappointing, but the sculpting is great and he looks really good with the others.

It's so cool that we have a complete set of Wreckers now!

I love Roadbuster. Very efficient and fun transformation but there is something deeply wrong with how the front half was designed to tab in. The alt mode just doesn't work out.

Really wish all my bots weren't packed away, I would love to start throwing out a lot of love to some of the great toys of the line.

Standouts for me includes Overload, Sentinel Prime, car Dropkick, 07 Megatron, Rampage, jet Shatter, the Jetfire/Prime combination, Leadfoot, and Dino.

The only real duds of the line are copter Dropkick, car Shatter, and Topspin (him mostly because his old toy is definitely better)

Studio Series Jolt Found at U.S. Retail

Thanks to a post on Twitter by user @Fc20364, we have photo proof that Studio Series Wave 13 has been found at retail in the U.S.! Jolt and his wavemates were found at a Walmart in Texas, though the exact location wasn't specified.

Image

Though not shown in this picture, Gnaw is a new mold, and part of this Wave. Wave 13 also consists of ROTF Bumblebee, first released in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line; as well as a repack of Jazz.

Are you going to be on a lookout for the electrifying Autobot- especially now that he finally has a screen accurate head? Passing on this figure? Let us know in the Energon Pub forums!

At last! I'll be keeping an eye out, hopefully he starts showing up around here soon.

I really like the render they picked for ROTF Bee, I remember that one specifically from a 3D sticker sheet I had when ROTF came out. The Buzzworthy version used a render of the 07 version of Bee, so I'm glad they fixed that for this release.

I hope we get those shoulder rocket launchers from the render as an accessory at some point!

I got lucky and was able to grab a Jolt and Bee from target.com for retail last Friday. Should be here in the next day or two. I really can not wait. Then all I need to get is Sideswipe.

Thew render is the only thing that Bee has going for it. Its incredibly small, smaller than Kingdom Jazz, transformation is awkward at best, he doesn’t tab in correctly in vehicle mode, and he’s just not that fun to mess around with. Sam is completely pointless.

I have the Buzzworthy release, I really think it's the best deluxe movie Bee. Transformation takes a bit to get used to, but the figure overall, especially in robot mode, is awesome.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with that assessment. Takara's MBM DotM Bee I think takes that award. Some may not like the black spoiler, but other than that it uses the updated DotM movie mold with a great paint.

https://reflector.tfw2005.com/transform ... bumblebee/

I don't see what so good about a teeny tiny Deluxe bee with super loose hips and an awkward transformation that doesn't let him tab in properly in vehicle mode.

Had he been 15% larger he would have been real good, and probably avoided the tabbing issues in car mode.

He's barely o.k at best, but has some real issues.

If size is the main complaint when comparing DOTM against SS, then SS will always come up short (pun alert). SS are all designed to be as close to in scale with the rest of the SS line as possible, not the previous toylines. There was a noticable decrease in size of the movie toys somewhere between DOTM and TLK with Studio Series being pretty close to scale with TLK and sharing some molds.

So far all the SS Bee's except 1 have been the same general size. If this was your first venture into SS for Bee, and your only other experience with the movie lines was pre SS, I can see where your comments are coming from. The one exception is SS79 High Octane Bee, and that is out of scale (just a little bigger than the other SS Bees) because they went cheap and re-used the AoE mold

For the transformation and tabbing together, are you sure you didn't just get a defective one, are are maybe missing a step somewhere? Mine tabs together just fine and most others who have the mold haven't mentioned any problems either. I haven't messed with it in a while, so I can take a look and see if there is something that might cause the tabbing issue you are having.
