Fellow Seibertronian Hellscream9999 e-mailed us some exciting insider information that will help you find the highly anticipated Studio Series figures, when the time comes. This is the Transformers toyline which will bring new toys for Live Action movie characters from across the previous films. We have already seen a few of these, like this deluxe Bumblebee, and they appear to be a mix of brand new molds and retools of previously released toys.

Hellscream9999 was able to confirm the Target DPCI numbers for each class size. Here's the information that he shared with us.

Hellscream9999 wrote:Hey, found these today, street-dated for 4-20 (at Target)

Deluxe

You can use a website resource such as Brickseek to see if your local Target store(s) has these products in back. When the time comes (that being April), if you can't find them in the toy section, just ask a friendly Target employee to help you out.

If you find them in stock somewhere, please make sure to let other Transformers fans know by sharing your sightings in our Sightings Section and our Sightings forum.

Here is a list of the figures said to be part of the line:

Deluxe

Bumblebee
Decepticon Stinger
Decepticon Crowbar
Ratchet
Jazz
Lockdown

Voyager

Starscream
Optimus
Megatron
Brawl
Ironhide
Starscream (different deco)

Leader

Blackout
Grimlock

I don't care if he is a retool, all I know is I ABSOLUTELY love that Bumblebee :x :BOT:.
That version, the first movie version of the 1976 Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee has always been my favorite version of movie :michaelbay: Bumblebee :BOT:.
I have the 2007 figure of this version of Bumblebee and yes even when I get the Studio Series figure I still plan on keeping it, just because that is whats I do. ;)
And on another note, I hate that it is always "presumed" that "movie fans" are younger and newer to the brand, I have been collecting Transformers since 1985, and I love the movies as much as I love G1......yeah I said it.

Thanks for the heads up. It has been fixed. I also took the liberty of editing the quotation now that the post is in the right place and to ease the flow of discussion.

So that 4/20 release date wasn't a joke after all?

Maybe they'll be easier to get, a lot of people wont be leaving their houses that Friday.

I'm 38 and I had loads of G1 toys in the 80s and at least a couple hundred issues of the Marvel UK comic... G1 doesn't mean much to me these days other than the odd appealing update figure whereas I love the movie stuff as it gives me the complex robots and realistic alt-forms that the original G1 toy started off with before G1 got far too heavy with made up sci-fi alt-modes and simplistic blocky robots.

By the way I'm liking the new Toyfair pics. Though Bee could use a bit more yellow paint on his shoulders but i can do that.

Seibertronian Black Hat has informed us some of the deluxe figures from the Transformers Studio Series line have been shown over on 4chan, with the original source being Russian retailer OZON.RU. The leaked images are likely stock photography for Ratchet, Stinger, Crowbar, and the same Bumblebee we saw in hand a few days ago. Obviously this is not the entire Studio Series range, the rest of which we'll probably see just later today at New York Toy Fair! Take a look at the images mirrored below and tell us in the Energon Pub forums what you think of them, and if you'll be inclined to pick them up when they hit store shelves later in the year!

As always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest updates from Toy fair and beyond!

EDIT: Even more images of these figures have appeared, featuring Ratchet, Stinger, and Crowbar in their packaging, and Bumblebee with his display stand fully built!

White background often does no favours to figures cos it's a bit overpowering but I'm liking these. Definitely gonna add bit extra yellow paint to Bee's shoulders do the yellow panel doesn't look that flat. Stinger is cool.
Bee can bend his elbow on his cannon arm when it's on his right arm? My TLK figure can only do that when attached to his left.

See, now that background really looks way better than a plain white background shown in the other photos. Looks fantastic. So glad we get these included. :)

Dat pinky grip.

On the one hand, I'm happy that Ratchet will be able to securely hold a weapon. On the other hand though... this looks soooo weird.

Gosh, originally I was only planning on picking up the 70's Bee, Stinger, and potential Jazz figure as far as the deluxes went, but Ratchet and Crowbar also look really good, can't wait to see what all the others look like.

That Bumblebee still looks spectacular! :x
Stinger looks mistransformed in his pictures, I'm going to withhold judgement on him for now. Ratchet looks good in robot mode, the alt mode could use some paint but I have the DOTM deluxe already so I don't think I need this one. Crowbar looks alright (although I don't plan on getting him), I'm wondering what his alt mode looks like next to DOTM Crankcase.

Crowbar and Stinger are definite wants. Only problem with Crowbar looking so good is now I need a Berserker to keep him company. Good thing he's going cheap on eBay!

Bumblebee looks good but I'm kinda sick of movie Bumblebees by this point. That's not his fault though.

Ratchet looks cool. I dig the saw, and it's nice that he has the movie-accurate extra thumb.

Ratchet is all new as well. He's not based on either the RotF Deluxe, or DotM Deluxe Ratchet, I checked and compared (a good habit to have):

It looks like he's based off of the DOTM mold to me. There are some differences, like how the back kibble folds away, but for the most part it's the DOTM deluxe.

Stinger looks like a mess, Crowbar is just Berserker with remolded parts and better heels, and Ratchet lacks paint, but that Bumblebee figure is freaking awesome. Still might get the two deceptions, I've had a good time with my Berserker figure and I hope to Primus that Stinger is mis-transformed in these images. I already have the DOTM deluxe Ratchet, so this Ratchet is a pass. It's nice to see some good figures for older characters, I just hope the buying point isn't too high, that might affect which ones I buy. Also, I want to see some other characters eventually, like Jazz or Sideswipe or Shockwave.

Looks like I stand corrected. I still need to get used at just how many parts are switched out with older molds nowadays

Wow, that Ratchet is sooooo underpainted and looks like it improves jack **** over the DOTM deluxe. Plus with two other molds we already have (and that both are not great), this line doesnt look that exciting.
