Hey randomhero, just to show that sometimes an image can say a thousand words, check what the most popular news story on our site is:

Wave 5 deluxes are showing up on shelves for the first time here, saw Sideswipe at retail for the first time (glad I got it on amazon), but I still haven’t seen Clunker Bumblebee at all. I don’t plan on getting it since I already have SS-01, but at this point I think I need to prove it exists!

That looks awesome! I love Hightower. I could see the smallest Constructicon being the brains MasterBlaster style

Hey just putting this out there I’ve seen a few mentions and even gifs of people pointing out the weakness (shaking their toy about) of Hightower’s ratchet joint that become Devastator’s shoulder once Scrapmetal’s attached but mine is solid. It’s not the strongest but it can definitely hold the weight of the hand just as well as any bot in any other scale were you to shake it vigorously.

This thing is going to be awesome. I was so unhappy when I first saw Devastator and his ‘accoutrements’ on the screen but I love these toys. Very much appreciating them more now maybe I’m just older.

My walmart followed suit with the Wave 5 restock. Sadly no new Wave 7 guys.

The funny thing is, the store got 2 cases. All WWII Bees were already gone, 1 Crankcase was left, 2 Clunker Bees, 4 Barricades, and 1 sideswipe were all left. and then there were the 4 same helicopter Dropkicks that have been there all year.

Bizarre WWII Bee was the one gone quickest. I like him, but apparently not too many others do.

Still very happy he is getting WWII Hot Rod to go with him. We need more WWII bots

The Toyworld versions are hard to beat. Excellent paintjobs on them too (and they all seem to get a colour variant as well) and they scale with Studio Series just fine. I've not got that official SS WWII Bee yet, even cheap cos it just doesn't look very good to me and it's wrong vehicle too. The Toyworld's Green Hornet version is superb (though oddly not green... comes in either gray or purplish-gray).

I just got back from Austin, TX and while I was there we stopped in a Walmart. They had like 3 Barricades and 3 Hightowers. I never saw a Barricade before in my local Walmart in Florida. Did they release them again??

So, being at the halfway point on deastator, he is really turning out to be a beast, I cannot wait to get the rest of him

On another note, is anyone else having problems with longhauls legs not cooperating to form his vehicle mode? Mine don't seem to wanna lay flat

The toes on mine tend to bend more than stay straight but not too much with what you’re describing. Do you have his thigh panels rotated correctly? That held me up for a minute when I transformed him the first few times.

Saw the latest deluxe wave at my closest Walmart yesterday (45-47). So while I'm not a collector, I can say I've seen every non-exclusive in stores except for the new Leader Prime (44). Also I've never seen Drift w/Dinobots (36), was it ever made clear how that was released in the US?

It's kind of an odd feeling. In a line with so much potential, if not for the recent announcement of deluxe wave 8, and the obvious eventuality of 4 more Constructicons, we'd be at a point when everything revealed so far has been released, and wondering what's next...

Except for the recently revealed Deluxe Wave 8, and eventual four more Constructions. In times past, there's usually been a good 2 waves (10-20 pieces at times) between what's been revealed, and what is actually out. Well I guess with speculation we can say that at least Eight more figures are coming out, but I'm sure several more reveals are coming soon for this line.

Can you send links to the multiple ss 44 sightings please?

We have good news for fans. Transformers Studio Series Leader Class SS-44 Dark Of The Moon Jetwing Optimus Prime has been found at US retail. Specifically, Target in San Antonio Texas. This is a redeco and slight retool of SS-32 Optimus Prime and you will need to attach the extra abdominal piece that comes with Studio Series Jetfire for them to combine together, if you so desire. His abs are painted and so is his sword.
This particular sighting was found by SuperRock7 over at the TFW2005 boards.

If ever you find him as well, please let fans know in your state's (or country's) sightings forum. You can also insert the sighting in our sightings section.

Who is his wave mate? Hopefully it is two of him, but I highly doubt it.

Hoping to see him soon. This whole wave has been turning out really cool, and the in-hand impressions have been glowing as well. Drift amusingly seems to be a very popular figure from the wave

He's shortpacked, so you will always see the other two more.

To answer the other question, optimus' wavemate is dotm megatron.

He was in wave 4 which it seems Walmart started restocking again as that wave just showed up at my local stores again as well. Guess they found some old warehouse stock.

I already loved the TLK version but sold it cos I knew this one was coming and yay the shiny silver paint makes him even more beautiful.
