Transformers Cyberverse Ultra Prowl Found in Canada

PostPosted: Mon Oct 14, 2019 6:51 pm

While we wait for the awesome new Cyberverse figures of 2020, we still have the simpler 2019 figures to tide kids over. The upcoming ultra class Prowl was found in Canada. This is a figure the size of a generations voyager toy sold at the price of a generations deluxe toy. It is unclear if it comes with Alpha Trion or a reissue of Shockwave since all were on the shelves, as you can see below. This toy reuses the style of Ultra Bumblebee.
If ever you do find interesting toy sightings that you think are new, you can reach us by clicking here.

And remember that you can share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

Just in from YouTuber Ultra Maximus are reviews for Transformers Cyberverse Power of the Spark Swing Slash Drift and Sky Surge Jetfire! These figures are getting better and better with every wave featuring cool action features as always, but more detail, and more fan favorites from throughout Transformers history every step of the way. Two prime (ha, see what I did there) examples have to be the G1 Autobot king of the skies Jetfire and the more recent artist created IDW soul with a sword Drift. Enjoy the reviews share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew in the forum. As always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Video Review for Transformers Cyberverse Swing Slash Drift and Swarm Attack Bumblebee

PostPosted: Mon Oct 21, 2019 4:41 pm
by Stargrave
Thanks again to fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg1999 we have a combo video review for Transformers Cyberverse Swing Slash Drift and Swarm Attack Bumblebee! These bots are both Warrior class from the fifth wave of Cyberverse. These somewhat new and have only been spotted on the shelves recently. As Chuck notes this Bumblebee is an improvement on the previously released warrior mold. Here's what Chuck has to say:
"Drift and Bumblebee are good Warrior Class figures but suffer from the usual Cyberverse complaints of thin and cheap-feeling plastic. Of the two, Drift is the better overall figure but Bumblebee is much better than the original Warrior Class toy, the gimmick works. If you're looking to only buy one figure I'd go with Drift."

What do you think? Are you sold on these molds or are you going to hold out for the Bumblebee revealed at the NYCC? Make sure to let us and Chuck know what you thought in the forum and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

New Whirl, Hot Rod, Repugnus and Bludgeon Toys Coming to the Cyberverse Line

PostPosted: Thu Oct 24, 2019 7:09 am
by william-james88
For some reason, Bludgeon has been making a lot of appearances in cartoon based Transformers toylines of the past years. We got a Bludgeon in the Prime line, in the Robots in Disguise line and now he is coming again in Cyberverse. He is one of the many new toys Kapow Toys has shared on facebook, which come from a Takara catalogue. They also shared an upcoming Cyberverse Whirl and Repugnus along with a new Hot Rod mold and the more collector satisfying deluxe Megatron we saw at NYCC (whch also comes with a Build a Figure component). Bludgeon, Whirl and Repugnus are not on the same complexity level (nor price point) as that Megatron, so they are probably the cheaper warrior class toys, which means the warrior class/price point will still remain alongside the more complex deluxe class bots. It is unclear which class Hot Rod belongs to since he does have the clear accessories that come with other deluxe class toys.

Let us know what you think!

At least Bludgeon is in the Cyberverse show with this design so it's less weird here than in RiD.

From what i see there, whirl, bludgeon, and repugnus seems to be part of simplified, gimmick toy, while hot rod looks to be part of the articulated deluxe. Gonna wait for better pics, as hot rod looks bland here.

Yeah, I recently acquired a RID 2015 Warrior class Bludgeon because of his appearance in the Cyberverse cartoon being a close enough match to that toy, so seeing this new actual Cyberverse Bludgeon toy looking more simplified than the RID Warrior, I think I'll stick with that one for the time being.

At least until any better Cyberverse Bludgeon gets made.

Whirl looks cute... might pick her (or him as the case might be) up... and I want to see some color on Repugnus before passing judgement, but not overly optimistic right now on him. Still hoping to see a Blackarachnia.

Just cant get excited with this line. I see them in the store, look at them, examine through the plastic, flip the package around and look at the back, stare at it for 10 seconds, turn the package back to the front, look at it for 5 seconds, and then put it back on the peg.

Sure, Whirl doesn't look too terribly complex, but I still love the look and need them for my shelf. Plus, maybe we'll get a deluxe somewhere down the line?

My guesses are:

Hot Rod: Deluxe Class
Repugnus: Warriors Class
Whirl: Warriors Class
Megatron: Deluxe Class
Bludgeon: One-Step

Such a shame for Bludgeon. O well, off to hunt the RiD Warrior one.

i say bludgeon a warrior class well, mostly because he also has what looks like a removable sword, and i don't think one step have accessories, at least not cyberverse one step

Bludgeon's very simple, even for Warrior standards: slide and fold everything in and lay him flat. Even the articulation is One-Step level, only the elbow move.

And I wouldn't read too much into that sword, because I don't think any of the currently-released Cyberverse figures, other than the Spark Armor ones, have accessories.

Your right, it might simply be non removeable detail like those dual tank cannons
