You ready for this? The Snakas blog attended Tokyo Comic Con 2018 and took every image they could possibly take. So, while we did see the Studio Series display already, with leader DOTM Megatron, we can now see every other display in full. Below you will see images of the following displays:

Studio Series with more pics of Megatron and Igor, as well as more images of Jetfire, his combo with the new Optimus Prime, and every other release.

Siege, with finished toys for Starscream and Ultra Magnus. We can see where the battle damage will be on Starscream's alt mode. We also get a good look at Ironhide which has a really odd colour pallette. While he looks unifnished, there is no mention that he is a prototype and he even includes the final battle damage deco on his feet.

The Bumblebee movie display included Encore Big Convoy and our first look at his box which is a perfect homage to his original packaging. Regarding Bumblebee, there was a big event with Tessho Genda, the voice of Optimus Prime (and Batman, Kratos, Sylverter Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger) in Japan, who confirmed was going to voice Optimus again for this film. There was also a video from Hailee Steinfeld introducing the latest trailer. This can be seen below.

I wonder what happened to MP Hound. We haven't seen it much lately, have we?

I found it a little too shallow when I first saw it, maybe (and hopefully, at least from my point of view) is it being reengineered a little?

Eh, not bad, not bad. Some of the Studio Series stuff looks real nice, Encore Big Convoy is always a fun toy regardless of shelforming, G-Shock OP is interesting if not very appealing to me, Siege Magnus looks nice and Starscream is -

Sooo when are we getting toys based on those samurai Prime and megs figures? I hope someone is working on them as we speak.

Lol one can only assume that they somehow displayed a miscolored version of the prototype. Which comes as no huge surprise, considering this is the same convention that apparently gave up 90% of the way through rusty VW Bumblebee's vehicle transformation and just left it there as "sufficient".

I'm really not keen on all that blue on Prime's chest and neck for the studio series... I read some other comment that asked why tf they can't get the colors right on their own IP? VERY GOOD QUESTION! because it takes 20 of the same toy to get the right color and only after you buy each one lol.

I'm fairly certain it's just the lighting, possibly someone's flash, but most likely just the lighting. Red is always challenging to photograph. A lot of the colors in these photos seem off, too bright, or other issues. Not the best pics.

1. Movie Optimus is supposed to have that blue on his chest.
2. As for the blue on the neck piece it could be a trick of the lighting. If not, I would put it down to mold layout + paint budget. Sometimes they want to cast a part in one color but the sprue for that color is out of room. So it gets moved to a different one. And depending on paint budget, it might be painted to the intended color or it might be left bare. This is how Cybertron Defense Scattorshot wound up with an ochre head.

I didnt want to put too many pics, ut there are more and we can see its not the lighting. Its jut, what i hope, to be some frankenstein prototype with some parts finished and some not:

The head had to go somewhere and there was room in the chest. Sometimes a visible head is the price you pay for a transparent windshield

Simply isn't time for him to be in the spotlight right now since we've got so much new stuff and finished stuff to see. MP-43 is Beast Megatron and MP-44 is Optimus so we know he won't be coming before August making him less of a priority since we've gotten our teaser. He'll probably pop up again in February at Wonder Festival Winter 2019.
