Well that's the hot spot retool I was not expecting.
Looks ok I guess, problem would be it being extremely back-heavy if that were not obvious already.

This is just super dorky, and unlike Transformers and GI Joe crossovers this really cool. I'm not super into ghost busters, but I may purchase him. They made this work really well.

Well that's a very random crossover. Can't say I like that robot mode too much but it's cute it has the gun and tube and such.

The Ecto-1 looks great though. Just not into the bot.

I see what everyone is seeing to make one think it could be. Shapes, and transformation. But, I don't think it is.

Maybe more of a case of "shared engineering"? It's hard to say.

Now that was truly unexpected.
I'd like it, but not if it's some sort of US exclusive that must be imported at high cost.

this is actually pretty cool - not a super robot mode (and seems to use the CW engineering patterns). The alt mode though looks the part and I appreciate the robot mode is an original character. Didn't care for the other transformers where for example a TIE fighter would transform into Vader... rather than an original character or a TF character like Megatron.

Wow, I cannot escape buying this mould 4 times can I?
If it isn't an extreme retool, it definitely shares engineering.

Oookay this came out of nowhere. I like the concept tho, and seeing that this gonna be a line, not just one-off, i am kinda worried, because while i can resist this just fine, i'm pretty sure there will be some down the line that will mess up my budget plan.

Anyone else think that this guy has hurtful shoulders and an addiction to Jaam? Because I am totally getting the Hot Shot vibe from this. Car mode looks great, robot mode... not so great. Dunno, but it seems like a knockoff.

Also, the "Transformers Collaborative" signature means we can expect more crossovers?

I'd love a Back To The Future Transformer if that's true

It BEGINS....

The BTTF Delorean
KITT
The Mystery Machine
The A-Team van
The General Lee
Christine
Bill & Ted's Phone Booth
Green Goblin Truck from Maximum Overdrive
what else?

The BTTF Delorean and KITT are PRIORITIES. The rest would be nice to have. Would Christine make for a nice Shatter? :-?

I guess a Doctor Who TARDIS would maybe satisfy those nerds fans

Plenty of possibilities, but sadly, little chance of a Gundam crossover :-(

There are worse molds. Like... Most of them. Most of the moulds are worse. I have this mould six-times.

Cool mash up. Kind of like the mash up I did. Which I’m surprised that it hasn’t been done since Hasbro now own Power Rangers.

HASBRO REVEALS TRANSFORMERS-GHOSTBUSTERS ECTO-1

COLLABORATIVE FIGURE AND IDW COMIC SERIES

'More than Meets the Eye' Collides with 'Who You Gonna Call?' for Transformers & Ghostbusters™ 35th Anniversaries

PAWTUCKET, RI – Feb. 15, 2019 – Autobots, Decepticons and ghosts?! Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) and Sony Pictures Consumer Products today revealed the first-ever TRANSFORMERS-Ghostbusters Collaborative figure, the ECTO-1 ECTOTRON, available at GameStop summer of 2019 and for pre-order starting February 15 at HasbroPulse.com, GameStop and EB Games Canada. This year marks the 35th anniversary of both the TRANSFORMERS brand & the original Ghostbusters film.

When fans of the iconic Ecto-1 from the 1984 Ghostbusters movie look a little closer at this nostalgic interpretation of the car, they will be treated with a new "robot in disguise" named ECTOTRON, a converting Paranormal Investigator. The figure is packed in a G1-inspired box featuring classic tech specs and comes with its own proton pack and Slimer accessory, and converts between two modes in 22 steps – a seven inch Ecto-1 vehicle and a TRANSFORMERS robot.

TRANSFORMERS robots have always been more than meets the eye, but now, through the TRANSFORMERS Collaborative, fans can experience these larger than life characters as they team-up, mash-up and meet up with other characters, teams and people. It is a world of constant change where things are not what they seem. A combined world of TRANSFORMERS and Ghostbusters where heroic Autobots, evil Decepticons and now ghosts can be discovered!

The Ghostbusters have a new, out of this world teammate and fans will be able to meet the all new TRANSFORMERS character ECTOTRON in his epic origin story by IDW Publishing. A brand new 5-part series from creative team Erik Burnham & Dan Schoening begins in June 2019.

The ECTO-1 ECTOTRON figure is available at GameStop starting Summer of 2019 and for pre-order starting February 15 at HasbroPulse.com, GameStop and EB Games Canada. And be on the lookout for other possible TRANSFORMERS and Ghostbusters items. When these two iconic franchises come together – anything is possible!
