Wow, they both look so awesome! Sparkplug and Son!!!!
Bumblebee's new head is awesome

. His Camaro mode is sweet too, but his robot mode looks a bit chessy with random placements of yellow.

here's my coment that I posted in this similar thread that may be this one... ?
I normaly skip repaints, but I'm getting that BB.
Plus since it's a retool, I feel almost justified in doing so.
I'm skipping the Savage repaint though.

Love both of these molds. Gettin' 'em both. Bumblebee looks even more like a bee with the new head, if that's possible.

Ugh, does EVERY figure in the movie line have to have at least 2 repaints? It's just getting hard to keep track now...
Salvage....I think the paint job looks a bit better than Dropkick's, though I liked the Decepticon logo on the latter. If I didn't have Dropkick, I would get this one, but I don't need 2 of this mould.
Stealth Bumblebee....the new head may make him worth it, but I'm not a big fan of the paint job, especially in vehicle mode. A black car with a few random yellow stripes? Eh, that's stretching it, and he is indeed painted rather than having black plastic, then I think he might look a bit worse in person.
Still, I was possibly going to get a Cliffjumper, so I might pass on him to get this BB, just for the head. Tough call....

this is just a dumb theroy of mine why bumblebee is black and yellow compaine decided they make him differnt color to match his name bumblebee and to get non transformers collectors like our selves to pickup bumblebee if they made him all yellow with the battle helmet the parents of the childern allready have the original 08 version of bb wont be able to tell the differnce betweent this version and the first one oh so my child allready has a bb 08 i dont need pick up another for him.
black and yellow situation will you buy me this one ok hes black and yellow now you have 2 bb one is all yallow and this one here black and yellow dumb way to think about it but thats my theroy on the subject about bb new look.
either way ill pick him up again if it wasnt for his new battle head i wouldnt pick him up for his new paint job

The repaint quota sucks, but that doesn't mean you have to get them.
Hasbro's gonna kep belting these out cause they're cheap and easy, but that does not mean you have to buy it!
Get the bots you want, scope the rest off either lot auctions or super reduced clearance!

Salvage looks great, I’ve been wanting a autobot Dropkick like the one in the game. And they say Hasbro doesn’t listen!
As for Bumblebee, might like it more if it was the 74’ mold, we’ve gotten way to many 08’ BBs but I’ll probably get it anyway.

What???!! I just checked BBTS' price on Bumblebee... This had better be ONE unfavorable case assortment because $19.99 is darn-near highway robbery.. man...

I know...I know....you speak true, but in my romantic idealistic way, I fondly remember the days when a repaint of a character was the exception rather than the norm, and even then it was cool since it comprised, say, a whole team of seekers. I know it makes great business sense, it's expensive to make a prototype, etc, etc., but oh how I wax poetic of the days when a whole combiner team would be separate designs for each piece rather than reused limbs. I remember when back in the day, you would buy a figure and be getting a truly unique character with his own design and specs, rather than twice repainted character or a "night version" of an existing character....etc., etc.
*sigh*
I just can't imagine all but the most diehard collectors with deep pockets and walls upon walls of open shelf space are going to actively look for these. I just can't help but feel a pretty good line is becoming watered down and tiresome with all these minor tweaks of existing figures.

Man.. the Movie Line is like repaint city, but when it comes to figures like Camaro Concept Bumblebee and Leader Prime, I am going to buy the originals as well as all of the repaints, simply because the mold is awesome!

Doesn't that make the Concept Camaro BB a yellow car with a few random black stripes?

Yes, but a yellow car with black stripes looks infinitely better than a black car with yellow stripes, IMO.
I can't think of a time I've ever seen the latter; probably because it would look very tacky.

I think for better than 60 grand a car, you can paint it however the hell you want
Its a nice turn on his general color scheme, not unlik how the Armada recolors frequntly inverted color schemes. A nice effect over all.
Salvage is hurt by the fact that few salage crews drive pimped out pick ups on their jobs...even it its Painted to look older.

I like both molds and both looks great so by my rules that means i can get the and i will. Bumblebee is the best from the new head to the paint. Hell i can rename him as well and add another bot the the army.

Love these repaints! Sparkplug and Son kind of a play on the sitcom Sanford and Son from the 70s which was also based on a Salvage company.
