Goddamn stupid underarm mounted gun. Head's a good resemblance to the original, at least.

Hmmm... I might pass on this one. I certainly don't think I'll go hunting for him.

I can't wait to get him, but I can't help feeling that he's gonna have some posability issues surrounding his torso (especially if he doesn't have his head on a ball joint ala most of the present universe releases - I'm looking at you in particular Prowl)

He needs a ladder.
Then the ladder can be retooled into a crane for Universe Grapple.
Also need a repaint of Sunstreaker/Sideswipe into Red Alert to keep Inferno company.

I'm excited about this guy. I always felt that EN Inferno was just a little too small and that alt mode kinda lame with the head just sitting there.
This incarnation is awesome looking. I can only hope that we get a Grapple repaint/remold.
So...who's next to get some "classicverse" lovin'? Hoist and Trailbreaker? C'Mon, I can hope, right???

I think he looks great and better than the G1 figure. Can't wait to pick him up to add to the collection

Pretty basic for a voyager, they could have made it a little smaller and made it a deluxe. Basic looking transformation too, the chest/torso is very lazy, but at least it looks like G1.
Thank goodness the front grill/bumper is right now, I was afraid after the first pics that it would hang down.

GAAAAAH!
*Bangs head on keyboard*
If they'd done that, the world and his wife would be complaining at the hideous lack of scale in making a firetruck the same size as a car. Inferno's a big lad.

Agreed. People still won't shut up about Galvatron.
If we're lucky, Hasbro won't remold this into Hot Spot and may give us the OTFCC Defensor. One can dream right?

Looking at him, I'm not really sure if he could be retooled into Grapple.

I think the bumper is supposed to hang down.

This will be the first Universe Voyager class figure I buy
(wait, unless the Target 2 pks are released first).
I'm really happy with his look, and it'll be nice to have a new mold Autobot that isn't a car.
Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for Sideswipe, Silverstreak, and Smokescreen, but Inferno and Ironhide will add a little needed variety.
And I really do think that Red Alert, Hoist, Trailbreaker, etc. will be on the way.
It may be a while, but imo it just makes sense to keep this line of Classics going.
I personally would love to see Jazz and Wheeljack soon.

I think he looks really awesome, very G1. He could use a ladder, but he's okay without it. I'll definitely be picking this guy up.

Awesome! I hope to get him soon. Any idea on release date?
Are they serious that he is 23cm? He's gonna be a lot taller than Prime and Megatron. That's like an Ultra size!

I loves it!
I really dig this retro design.
Can't wait for the Henkei version.

For all the ladder-lovers... maybe a kitbash will do?
