Soundwave's precious Felis catus gets a shiny upgrade. As we revealed earlier, the exclusive mail-order figure from the Battlefield Bumblebee vs. Infiltration Soundwave two-pack is a repaint of Deluxe Ravage. In what could be only described as a megacycle, Yizhi of TF08.net has posted an image of the figure for us to see.

The picture reveals yellow translucent plastic, and a big surprise, some shiny chrome work! For details on how to obtain Ravage, check out this previous news post.

Well.. I wish this was repainted into the colours of Glit, or atleast Howlback, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. Haha, I guess that's what we all are, just a bunch of beggars. Well, I guess I'll stop whining and be happy with some Ravage figure with more chrome than the rest of the RotF toyline...

mail in transformers are back after 25 years!
not talking about collectors club or anything like that
talking about like the old days were you collect robot points of the back of boxes
but in this case its stickers then send them in with money and order form
hopefully we will see more exclusive figures

It's probably something like, Atmospheric Entrance Ravage.
Looks a bit strange though, color-wise.

Looks a little better, I'll probably end up with one at some point.

Still saddens me the best they could think of was slapping chrome on a kitty. Why not 08 Bumblebee redecoed as Glyph or Bug Bite? Ironhide in red (okay, that's a voyager, but they could charge more or something)?

As it is, the toy does not make much sense to me.

It's cool, and much better than the Cobra Commander mail in they are offering for GI JOE.

Love the chrome blaster. Hope the package is cool looking, cause that's where mine is staying.

It looks like they're assembled backwards. Does this guy take official pictures for Hasbro?

Yeah, the legs are assembled backwards there, and..

They're most likely taken within Hasbro's factories. So no.

Wait, wait. CHROME? I bet it took like 2 months to warm the vacuum-mettalizer machine up!

Look closer. I have my Ravage on hand here and can tell you the legs are assembled correctly. The front legs are just twisted 180 degrees, which is possible with any Ravage figure, while the back ones are just straightened out.

Why chrome the front legs but not the back? This repaint is quite literally half-ass'ed in my opinion.

I'm not particularly interested in the figure, but I do think it's totally awesome that mail-away figures have returned. :D I wonder if it will be available to non-US customers?

Should have just painted the whole thing chrome. Looks decent but I could have done better with some chrome spray paint and masking tape to cover his eye. If its free for about 5-7 purchaces, Ill get him, but I got no plans to buy the whole N.E.S.T. line to get this guy.
