Movie Terradive Revealed

Another character reveal comes from the Hunt For The Decepticons games. The character goes by the name of Terradive, and looks to be a brand new mold. He's among the many names of upcoming Movie toys, so he will be getting a figure. Thanks to Energon Pub member Burn, we've got artwork for the upcoming figure. Terradive's alternate mode resembles that of Animated Starscream, deco'd in brown and grey. We also get a look at his face and upper body, and Terradive looks quite like a dubious Decepticon. Check him out below.

I hope the bot mode turns out as nice as the alt mode looks. If so, this may make it on my Decepticon shelf.

Really looking forward to seeing what Hasbro reveals at Botcon.

His head kinda looks like BW Depthcharge if he stole ROTF Lockdown's hairdo.

Six words I never want to see in a video game:

"Thanks to you, Paris is safe."

Is his alt-mode based on any real-life aircraft? I prefer that to "futuristic" alt-modes.

Also, to be honest, I was hoping this guy would be an homage to G2 Terradive. Oh well, he and Axor are on my maybe-to-probably list all the same :D

How is it based on that aircraft? The only thing that matches is the wings the design of which is not exclusive to that aircraft. The rest of the toy is completely different in shape (body, nosecone, tail). Cool toy but I think it is more futuristic in design.

Hasbro's not going to fork over the money for licensing on a off screen Movie character's alternate mode. Terradive's closely based on it.

True, forgot about licensing and if you wanted to do a design which pays respect to that aircraft you would focus on the wings as they are what stands out the most. So I stand corrected and withdraw my original opinion this would be based on that aircraft :)

This also looks like the GI Joe Conquest X-30! I'm sure Hasbro pulled some designs and influences from this.

As seen here

Can't wait to see this guy and his bio...

Those are still up in the air, we'll just have to wait and see.
