The [u] is for underlining, what you needed was [url].

And there are differences, namely translucent plastics for some parts, deco differences and lighter plastic colors.

looks like it's a shiny version of the normal colour scheme, with maybe a few extra accent colours on there. not impressed really, but hey, at least I might be able to get this one...if TRU takes it on in the UK (as sometimes happens with Target exclusives)

For once, the translucent plastic puts me off.

I think he refers to the "different deco" claim, which upon first sight doesn't seem true.

We finally have official images of Hasbro's upcoming Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Target Exclusive Abominus gift set! Just as the original solicitation indicated the set features no additional molding but does come in exclusive deco. Also of note, the packaging bears the phrase "Predacons Rising" in additional to the standard Beast Hunters logo. Hasbro will be releasing a Transformers Prime Beast Hunters DVD of the same name in October. Check out the images mirrored below courtesy of TFW2005 user juise.

I'd like to see how this looks in-hand before comitting to it, but I like these molds and am a sucker for translucent plastic, so I'll probably pick this up. Not wild about how small the box makes it look, though.

And Twinstrike (sinnertwin) is mis-transformed with the alt mode hands sticking out

I ain't too keen on these. I would've got them had they been more detailed/closer to G1 colours, but they're not.

I think I'll stick with the original releases and see what Takara is going to come out with.

And everyone but Windrazor seems to have the wrong weapon.

But whatevs. We've had bad stock photos before.

I'm hoping I can actually find all the mass-retail versions (though given how my Target has only recently gotten Wave 1 started, my hopes aren't too high), but this is a fine alternative if that plan doesn't work out.

Surprised it isn't vastly different from the other version. Half-expected Hun-Grr to be more G1 and the others based on Shattered Glass/Technobots or Monstructor or something.

The deco is different. There's lots of translucent parts.

I... I don't know how I feel about this set...

I'm guessing this is going to turn out like Bruticus for me.

This is what Bruticus felt like for me:

Hasbro is doing a combiner!
...But it looks terrible.

But the stock photos were badly transformed!
...But it still isn't all that great, even when transformed properly.

But at least it's being released as a whole set, to make them easier to get!
...With bizarre, non-G1 colors.

And I'm afraid that's what this will feel like as well.

As separate figures, these are cool. They fail as a combiner though; just looks like something a fan came up with. And the fact that the gift set is essentially unchanged from the original releases is the icing on the cake.

Hasbro has wowed us lately with some of their 30th anniversary releases, I'm ready to be wowed by a really solid combiner!!!

abominus looks like crap but i like the terrorcons so ill probably pick this up to keep in the box depending on the price. A shame cause ob their own each figure is awesome but the combined mode is horrible, one day hasbro will figure out how to do combiners again.

Agreed. Not to mention it didn't have to be a combiner at all but just 5 separate Legion figures that happened to have similar names and appearances of Abominus's parts.

I'm really happy with these guys. They make for a great set of Legion figures and are also a pretty cool combiner (that even have weapons that can combine). I'll hopefully be able to get all the individual Legions as well as eventually get this set as well.

Honestly, I'm just happy to see more combiners. If for whatever reason (perhaps cost reasons) they can't make many combiners in larger scales it'd be great if they can make more in the Cyberverse scale, whether that's with Legions, Commanders and Legions or even all Commanders.
