After previously seeing in-hand images of Starscream, the Mini-Con Assault Team, and Scoop, Autoboase Aichi rounds out the fourth Generations wave by providing in-hand images of Generations Skywarp! We are shown a pair of nice groupshots with the other two Seekers, as well as a comparison of Takara's version of Skywarp. The images have been mirrored below for everyone's viewing convenience.

I say that he's pretty awesome. He looks good with his other seekers, and he looks way more Skywarp-esque than the Takara version. Plus I think the light gray looks unique and contrasts the black nicely.

Now I hope Hasbro makes some Coneheads as per the WFC DS game designs

These guys are desk toys for me. I have the Takara versions in my WFC/FOC display. Nowhere else for me to display them really since the Classics versions are in that display. I don't have a separate IDW display. I just incorporate stuff here and there. Still trying to figure out where to put all my damn Springers now that there is finally a knock out official figure. I foresee lots of upcoming character overlap.

I find it hard to argue that Hasbro's figure isn't the better Skywarp simply because it actually looks like Skywarp. But for some reason I'm not getting giddy and excited seeing all three Seekers together.

Fugly toy is fugly.

It is very much Skywarp with the use of the dominant color of black as opposed to Takara's version with purple. My only complaint with the Hasbro version is his purple knees and lower legs. It's like he's wearing leg warmers from the 1980's. Yikes! Hasbro should've continued the black on down his legs, but then make his feet's "toes" purple. Leave what's gray on his legs and feet in the color of gray. Other than that aesthetic complaint, it's a great looking figure to be standing next to his fellow Seekers.

I'm glad that BBTS is offering this wave in singles because out of this wave, Skywarp is the only one I don't need.

Lookin' sexay! For once Hasbro has the better deco (well I suppose that's becoming more common), and finally we'll have a complete seeker trio released over here. Looking forward to it!

Definitely happy with the G1-esque deco; Takara's FOC-inspired deco isn't really striking enough.

While this is indeed the better Skywarp, Takara's looks enough like a generic Air Warrior that it still makes me wanna' army-build.

gonna get this. i love both versions.

Definitely happier with the black as opposed to the grey. I'm still not overly thrilled with the mold itself especially after comparing my 6" Titanium War Within Thundercracker to the Generations/FoC Thundercracker but hey, it's the Seekers so I'm getting them no matter what. I do agree that they should have carried the black all the way down the legs and given him purple feet or purple highlights. The solid purple lower leg looks ridiculous but it will in no way keep me from getting him.

It would of been nice if the legs were black. I see the Takara version as a purple clone. I wish Takara would get on Thundercracker so I can start using the Hasbro version as Triggerhappy. And just to stir things up, Ill throw this out there....

The IT Tetra Jets alt mode is better than this weird jet in my honest opinion. (not the bot modes, just the jet)
