Who said these were Cybertronian dinosaurs? These could be their Earth bodies, but with some in story explanation for the sci-fi look.

You mean the whole giant alien robot thing isn't enough of a sci-fi explanation?

We're talking about the same fandom that wonders why General Morshower looks like Colonel Sharp in the films that feature giant alien robots. ;)

Are they Cybertronains? Are they dinosaurs? Since the answer to both of those questions are yes they are Cybertronain dinosaurs.

So is Optimus a Cybertronian truck, then? He's a Cybertronian and a truck.

Is Bumblebee a Cybertronian Camaro? He's a Cybertronian and a Camaro.

Yes. It's part of who they are.

Didn't know Western Star and Chevrolet manufactured alien vehicles. Prime and Bee sure were lucky to find and scan altmodes on Earth whose models originated from their own home planet.

Camaros don't exist on Cybertron, and Optimus looks nothing like a polygon with wheels in the films.

My point is that a Cybertronian scanning an altmode on another planet doesn't automatically make that altmode into a Cybertronian model, which is what your original post on this seemed to be implying.

Bumblebee may be a Cybertronian, but he turns into a Chevrolet Camaro, not a Cybertronian Camaro, for instance.

Except that he is a Cybertronain Camaro, he wasn'ti made here or by Chevrolet.

Edit : I forgot to respond to the first part of your "correction". I never implied anything. Grimlock is a Cybertronain and he is a dinosaur. You can't separate the two. Unless you're suggesting he isn't one or the other.

Actually it wasn't, It was made on Cybertron. The car he scanned was made by Chevrolet , but since Bumblebee only incorporated the design of the car the actual components are Cybertronain.

He didn't get the Camaro altmode until he came to Earth. It wasn't made until he scanned it on Earth.

No, it's not. A Cybertronian has a pre-earth body in this continuity that's composed of absolutely nothing but metal, cybertronian exoskeleton. The car part are added after the disguise is scanned:

Therefore, you've got it backwards. The car is not made of him. His clothes are made of the car.

So you're saying it isn't part of him? Then where does the extra mass come from?

That's exactly how I've always looked at it. The vehicle parts are just like armor. That's probably why all the Decepticons without alternate modes are so easy to kill.

Also, I never noticed Ironhide had a dog-like face before he scanned his vehicle. Or whatever kind of look they were going for with him.

Transformers: Age of Extinction Full Theatrical Trailer Discussion

nelson, the admin for Michael Bay's official Shoot for the Edit forums, dropped a little hint as to when we can expect the full theatrical trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction. While answering some questions about the Super Bowl teaser he mentioned the full trailer may be running in about a month.

nelson wrote:That trailer is not in chronological order.

Rumor has it the theatrical trailer will be ready in about a month or so.

Shouldn't there at least be a teaser first? I don't think a 30 second Superbowl commercial counts.

I mean, before they release a full theatrical trailer, they normally release a teaser trailer.
