Still, Age 3 and Up are pretty reliable and unless shipping is free with E.B Games, it's cheaper with A3&U for Quebec just because we don't have to pay the Quebec tax.

For now, the "store pick up" option is grayed out so it's not possible. It may also be something that will never ever be available in any store because it's too big so it may remain online only.

Still, it's cheaper even with shipping from Age 3 and Up. Just because we Québécois skip the Quebec tax:

Age 3 and Up:

Order summary
Transformers Generations Selects - Titan Black Zarak × 1
$229.99

Subtotal
$229.99

Shipping
$13.99

GST
$12.20

Total
$256.18 CAD

EB Games with in-store pick-up (if available):

Montant avant/hors taxes
230
+ TPS (5%)
11.5
+ TVQ (9.975%)
22.94
= Montant avec taxes
264.44

Proof that the Quebec tax is one HELL of a scam. (It actually tax the federal tax!)

Plus if your order from Age 3 and Up go above 250$CAN, shipping is free. Unfortunately, preorders item cannot combine into a larger order. If anyone are willing to risk it, they can wait until it's in stock then buy something that is worth above 20$CAN to save on the 13.99$ of shipping. But I'm not taking any chances just to save a McDonald meal.

Many New Walmart Transformers Exclusives Now Found in Canada

by william-james88
While Canadian Walmarts have been rather barren as of late, the latest exclusive figures are now all being found in stores at the same time.
The second wave of Headmaster figures was found in BC.
The Nextflix wave 3 deluxes have been found across the country (though there is no confirmation for Ontario since the province is currently on essentials only lockdown).
The Netflix wave 3 voyagers have been found in Alberta.

If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

This sighting was originally posted here.

This statement amuses me. I'm not certain American Wal-marts even CARRY Transformers anymore.

New Canadian Sightings include Slag, all Beast Wars Reissues and Never Before Seen Buzzworthy Toys

Ok so lots of new sightings and even new reveals through sightings to get through.

Manitoba, Canada, seems to be the first place where the Walmart exclusive Transformers Best Wars reissues were found but they have popped up in other areas of the country since, like BC and Ontario. Cheetor and Rattrap are both 32.97 which Optimus Primal and Megatron are 69.97 each. The images below all come from the Cybertron.ca board. These may not show up in the US for another month or two as we saw from the initial release of vintage Transformers at Walmart in 2018.

As you can see from the Rattrap image, from TF fan SPLIT LIP, Canadian Walmarts also have the new Rescue Bot Dinobot two packs.

JonoPrime on the Cybertron baords also found leader class Slag in an Onatrio Walmart.

In Ontario, someone found never before seen toys as part of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line at Toysrus. Those are Bumblegrim and Primelock. Both have Grimlock as the pants and each set gives you a new deco of the Grimlock mold that came out in the Robots in Disguise crash combiner line. The sighting comes from @CybertronBeast on Twiter.

Even accounting for Canada to US dollar FX, those reissues seem pretty expensive. Are straight reissues always that pricey?

Yes.

I can't say for the USA, but Walmart charge extra for some, and the price is right for other. It's weird how they function.

(All in Canadian $)
Optimus Prime without trailer was 70$CAN when it came out, as well as Astrotrain, Starscream, and the Soundwave/Buzzsaw two pack. Overpriced for Optimus and Astrotrain, maybe fair for Starscream, and totally fair for Soundwave.
Hotrod and Blaster were 40$, which was fair for Hotrod and pretty cheap for Blaster.

There's no rimes nor reasons to those prices. :HEADHURTS:

Buzzworthy Worlds Collide Pack and More New Transformers found at Toysrus Canada

PostPosted: Thu Jul 29, 2021 8:13 pm
by william-james88
The Transformers Bumblebee Worlds Collide pack is out at Toysrus Canada. It was found in Ontario, Quebec and will probably show up at your local one soon. It comes 2 per case and stores are only getting 1 case at first. The price is $109.99 which is not terrible considering the prices are now $33 for deluxes and $45 for voyagers, meaning these would retail at $144 if packaged individually. Then again, that would be preferred by everyone since there are clearly some toys that are more popular than others in this set.

The Rescue Bot section of Toysrus got a big restock too, with the new Dinosaur themed sets as well as the new giant Jet Prime now stocked.

Toys R Us have increased the prices of Transformers by a large margin.

Deluxes are now 34$. Voyagers are 45$. Ans those crappy X-Over X-Panse and Ectotron are now a whopping 95$ because they weren't expensive enough.

https://www.toysrus.ca/fr/Transformers- ... 73B39.html

At least, my local TrU have that "Botcon" Buzzworthy 4 pack in stock. They had 4 of them and at 115$, that pack is now ironically dirt cheap.
My B-Day is soon so I did "the puppy eyes" to my friend and my sis. :-P
