We've received an e-mail from Skyhammer, who states that he is a Wal*Mart employee, the e-mail contains a list of new Transformers figures he found in the Wal*Mart computer system. Most of the names listed are things we already know of and are in fact even out on store shelves. But there are a few new and very interesting things, which we have put into bold lettering!

Are these movies figures?
If so I can imagine that alpha trion would be a repaint of jetfire and soundwave could esaily just be a blue repaint of mindwipe.

Deluxe Arcee? Sounds like Classics Arcee to me.

I will try not to get my hopes up, but the last time we saw these Walmart things we got everything we saw, so must as well speculate a bit until it's confirmed or denied.
Some of these could very well be Prime toys. I mean, we have Arcee, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Optimus. Then we also have Starscream, Soundwave and Megatron. Seems like all the characters are there (minus Eradicon drones, our deceased friend Cliffjumper).
It's also worth noting that their associated 'numbers' are all after the previously known figures (Bumblebee does come before the 'twins' by number) and are all relatively close to one another.
Leader Trion though, I've really no idea. Maybe he has something to do with Prime as well. And Apelinq, sure, maybe he's somewhere.

Glad I haven't dropped the cash on a Botcon A3 yet. I have a feeling it's going to be movie related and not really what I'm looking for, but I will definitely wait to see before buying the Botcon version now.

Too bad there's no Voyager Thundercracker to go with that Bulkhead, or I could do the dance of joy for another Animated Starscream Clone being realized.
Interested in the possibilities of Apelinq and a bigger Soundwave (Cybertron jet repaint? Another G1 reissue?), but pessimistic about Alpha Trion, since Leader Class implies another Bayniverse repaint, probably Jetfire, since they're both ancient Autobots. As nice as it'll be to actually see "Alpha Trion" on a box in the Tranformers sections of major retailers, I'm never bothering with a live-action figure larger than a voyager. My collection's out of space as is. Legends Jetfire on the other hand...
Just read metalogan's reply, and agree Soundwave being a Mindwipe repaint makes sense. And Skystalker's vehicle mode actually looks like Laserbeak's Cybertron mode in MTMTE Part 1! Could that mean Sunspot is supposed to be Buzzsaw? Nah, he looks more like Sundor.

Quick question; The Starscream that was in the list is gonna be based off his G1 incarnation, right? And Bulkhead? Likely either a repaint of the original Animated Voyager, a brand new mold homaging Animated BH, or maybe proof that Hasbro not making a Prime toyline is actually a conspiracy. I'm going with the last two.

Really psyched about Alpha Trion.

Personally, the optimist in me sees a Transformers Prime toyline featuring:
Deluxes: Bumblebee and Arcee
Voyagers: Bulkhead and Soundwave
[EDIT: Voyagers Ratchet and Starscream (missed them at first glance!)]
Leader: Alpha Trion (based on the design seen at Botcon, placing those members of the original thirteen in the Prime-verse, explaining their conflictions with accepted continuity)
...and possibly Leaders Optimus and Megatron (but that's unlikely)
[EDIT: Just noticed that Megazarak just posted pretty much the same opinion, oh well, great minds eh?]

The voyager toys look pretty interesting (Bulkhead and Soundwave) as well as Alpha Trion.
Any idea how soon these will hit the shelves?

Hasbro announced in their investor webcast that there will be TF:Prime products hitting the shelves in 2011.

Interesting listings...I doubt Leader Class Trion is a new mold and I doubt it would be a repaint of the Prime or Megatron molds. Kinda doubt Brawl as well which leaves Screamer or Jetfire...gonna go with Jetfire repaint.
I'm VERY interested in Apelinq. I wonder if we're gonna see a Beast Wars mold return?

Alpha Trion has already been discussed, so I'm not surprised.
I was thinking of adding Bulkhead to the line yesterday, coincidentally, and I'm thinking he's going to be an homage of his Animated counterpart but with a much more realistic design.
Apelinq...hmmmmm.....
Thank Primus we're finally (maybe) going to get a real classic Soundwave.
But what about...
Arcee
Megatron
Optimus Prime
"two pack twin"
voyager Starscream
voyager Ratchet
Are those just ROTF and HFTD figures or are they something else??????

The vast majority of those figures are almost definately movie-verse figures. Under the Reveal The Shield title most probably. Maybe Hasbro are going to do to Transformers: Prime what they did with War For Cybertron and integrate a small number of that entity's figures with a pre-existing main line rather than create a brand new one. If you put money into creating a brand new TV series, it'd be daft not to make some extra cash off of it with figures. But with the third movie coming out next year as well, it's probably not worth a whole new line to itself. And what we've seen of the Prime designs so far would suggest they have more aesthetically in common with the movies anyway.
No matter what they turn out to be, Bulkhead is a must have so long as it's not his Animated version. The rest I'll have to wait and see.
Also, it's about time Hasbro got around to working on The Original Thirteen. Didn't they say earlier this year that they'd be expanding on the stories of The Original Thirteen, and what have we had? Alpha Trion in Animated and Exodus along with a reference to Megatronus. AKA: Sod all!

Very VERY interesting. Apelinq huh? A repaint of the Optimus Primal updated mold from a couple years back? Or something new altogether? I'd be willing to bet that Hasbro has lost the TM to Apeface and this is their response.
A question though: Am I the only one that gets the impression that the Hub is usually Transformers: Prime as their flagship program? They are advertising it everywhere, but i don't see adverts for other Hub shows.

I was thinking the same thing today. With the Prime figures they'll probably integrate them into the main line but put "Transformers: Prime" stickers on the bubble or something.

First off, I can't be the only one blind with rage that there are no other RTS scout past Windcharger?! I had such high hopes for Gears, Huffer, and maybe even a new BB Cliffjumper and Brawn all done they way they should be like Windcharger. Sonofa...
I'm not surprised at all about the characters from TFPrime being listed. I mean there's like 8 months until DOTM blows up and I'm sure Hasbro & Takara have grown quite fond of making money hand over fist. I'm thinking all of that new stuff is TFP figures including all the Leader figures, and Apelinq.
Then again I'm still thinking there some Generarions Deluxes we don't even know about yet.

That would be sooooo awesome if these were Prime toys. I hope generations/RtS doesn't end soon. So much potential there. I really like the fact that Hasbro is just springing new toys seemingly out of nowhere. There have been some pretty good surprises in the past 2 months alone. Looks like 2011 is going to be even better than I thought
