Well, Godzillabot replied in passing that I should try doing Vehicon Commander Thrust. Since he was so optimistic about it, I gave it a go. Not to toot my own horn, but I think this may be my best work yet:

its cool but it would be better if it was from the prid line not fe. (surprisingly)

The reason I chose the FE version is because he's supposed to be leading the vehicons. So I chose the bigger, bulkier mold. He's unique in other words. Also...

He's just the Ground Commander.

Now to finish the trio...

Now, I admit, Strika had me puzzled. I eventually settled on the Breakdown mold. It was a fight between that, and clone commander cody. Breakdown won due to obvious reasons, though I think Cody would make a good "Classics" Strika.

Anyhow, this one came out Gritty and it doesn't look as much like strika as I would have liked, but I still think its a fitting edition to the group.

Artillery Commander Strika:

I would have liked it better if I could have made the yellow more of an orange hue, but it just wouldn't work with me

Definitely the most bland of the three I know, but thats why the other two are there, to make Strika look good!
