I'm experimenting with some different color backgrounds and lighting.

That's a great expression and I look forward to using that someday.

He's neat and kinda disappointing at the same time. I knew what I was getting into, but I was hoping he was a more flappy wings bat.

But once I really started staring at him, I saw it. This mutant hunched over vampiric nightmare forced to walk on a twisted mess that is barely recognizable as wings.

I love him

Those deployers are pretty cool. And the backgrounds are making things pop!

I keep wanting to explore new psych wall options too. Mine are getting beat up. What are you using, and where did you get them? Just poster board?

Yup, just poster board. I got them from a hobby store; Michael's to be exact. They were out of red last time. I feel like I need red, orange and white. They did have some sweet rainbow fade ones too. They went from green to lite blue and from yellow to red. Unfortunately they were oriented horizontally. I've out grown my current setup. I need to build a frame and get some clamp lights and some spot lights. Maybe some colored filters. I also want to incorporate a way to hold my light diffuser at different angles and such.

I like his little stumpy back legs too. I wanted to mention them in the post above but I was trying to sound clever and funny. Figures the two I got last are some of the cooler ones.

Well, I've handled that mold quite a lot, but it wasn't until I was using all three at the same time that I noticed how nice of a limb it makes. Very svelte and the "toes" help to integrate the hand/foot very nicely. Vortex is when I really noticed how much I like the AB mold. Vortex cruised around with me for a while, but no good photos came of it.

The crazy thing is, now I want another AB repaint to finish Repaintron

As of right now that puts me at looking into one of the upcoming box sets.

Victorion hurts my eyes, but comes with some nifty hands, feets and sword(s).

Computron more than likely is coming with the heavily retooled "big" groove mold and possibly new/different hands and feet, but no helibuddy.

Duuuuuuuude, Repaintron is awesome. I have been meaning to do that myself, but then also find myself wishing I had a forth. Ab and Dragstrip are my favorite limbs. (Well I like the truck mold a lot too). I have done two choppas as legs before and I'm glad you saw the awesome little touch of turning those tail fins in opposing directions. Looks so cool.

But more impotant, the photos of Repaintron look phenomenal! Are your new back drops the standard poster board size or bigger?

On Vicky. Here's my beef with her. Why did they choose the most unfeminine molds for her? The AB mold works fine, but they should have used Dragstrip and Fireflight instead of those cars. If they had done that I would be interested, bordering on sold. Silverbolt would have been a much more logical torso choice too, but Hotspot works so so. In the end he/she is just a pile of mess, and as awesome as shim's accsesories are (That SWORD!) I can't justify getting her/it for those alone. I'm rather rubbed by the whole thing. I would love to have a giant Ladytron.

Also glad you are pleased with Battle Pack Prime. Those ball joints are awesomely versatile and poseable. Takes me back to the days of Beast Wars when ball joints were new and all the rage.

Hahaha, thanks. I knew of all the people you would appreciate Repaintron the most. I was thinking about making another combiner using just the Dead End mold and calling him something like "No Outlet"; but I haven't decided on the torso yet. I've yet to combine OP and he is currently not busy being a combiner...

Best of my knowledge, just normal. I ditched the Ballin' Bot Booth, but I'm using the same crappy desk lamps. I do have a secret that I may or may not have shared yet. I am borrowing my wife's real light difusser. It works so much better than my makeshift ones.

A bunch of stuff about Ladytron

She isn't even on the battlefield more or less my radar. She just happens to have unique helibot gals. To my surprise the boxset Computron has my interest. Both would probably have to be at a good discount though. I want to save my pennies for all base bots that are coming out this year.

I really am. I may take your advice and make him my second road dog. I actually like the energon armor, but not the spike/fin things. I may cut/snip/grind them off.

I don't mind a hike when we are on vacation somewhere that doesn't have sub sub tropical weather. LA weather is a lot like Florida, only minus wind. So just hot and humid.

I used to have a good collection of retro games from the NES up to current, but I decided to trade them all in. I kept holding onto games for that magic day when I would have an infinite amount of time to play them all again. I do still wish I still had them all just to have and look at.

I filled that void with tiny plastic giant robots instead

Selling off everything extra would be great. Mrs. Cram has informed me that I need to make up my mind on what I want to sell and keep, as I go back and forth to much and need to..
