Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Of course, but as of right now I will be spreading things out and re-arranging. It's a big project and I'm taking my time.itscramtastic wrote:More room, new figures, sounds like someone will be filling some space![]()
Thanks. I wanted to take more pics, but it was late and I was getting incoherent(er).Nice write ups on the bots!
So they do, I was wondering what those rivets were for. Good to know, thanks for pointing that out. That should help with articulationThe7thParallel wrote:THoof is mistransformed. His antlers angle up in robot mode.

Oh, hey I figured something out with opening the images in a new tab. So if you have a browser that allows you to open an image in a new tab (and why wouldn't you, I mean who uses IE? amiright?) you will be sent to the full resolution version instead of the lame photobucket view. Give it a whirl and let me know what cha think?
I didn't do the cell phone pics if you wanna see the difference. Or if it's working correctly on your side.

Cobotron wrote:I don't really see a difference between your post and a new tab. But when your pics look that good, it doesn't really matter. The diffuser set up looks, well, BALLER! Judging by the shots it seems to be working pretty well too.
Glad you are using your extra day off to play!

Are you implying that cardboard boxes, desk lamps, poster board and clothespins are not an "actual set-up"Dr Va'al wrote:If I had time, space and willingness, I'd try setting an actual set-up up
I aim to pleaseCary, I am still annoyed at you for your pretty pictures. Let it be known.

I should experiment with natural lighting, the cave has an entire wall of windows
I just keep forgetting about 'em.
Natural lighting is my friend. That's how my bots come out looking presentable.Dr Va'al wrote:Alas, I rely on weird lights, natural lighting and makeshift backgrounds until the bedroom is sorted out.

Which Optimus is that up there with the other Prime toys?
Lighting can make or break a photo and is the biggest challenge I face. And here is me experimenting with natural light:

Its really hard to keep it just on the toys and not flooding the background.
Does that sound a little dirty, or am I just a shckum bag?carytheone wrote:I love a little Countach in the morning!

Nope, just picking up the filth I'm laying down.Cobotron wrote:Does that sound a little dirty, or am I just a shckum bag?carytheone wrote:I love a little Countach in the morning!![]()
Nope, I've had it for a while but it normally over exposes and looks white. I've been hesitant to use it because it blows out my pics. My current setup give me way more flexible lighting and I'm starting to understand how to use F stops.I love Steve's Cadillac inspired alt mode.
The light blue background is loverly. Dat new?
